Old Eren was a loud, whiny brat. New Eren is a quiet, twisted madman. Can't say I like either really. I prefer the new one for sure though, his schemes are much more interesting than "I bite hand and grow to kill"

As a person, old one was better. Because you know, he wasn't a genocidal maniac. But as a character, I'd say the new one is more interesting. I'm not a huge fan of either of them tho.

Although old eren was a normal protagonist, there was a scene in s3p1 in which he cried because he believed that he ruined things for Historia and I felt that at that moment his character was quite good and real.
new eren is just a walking mystery and when its mystery is solved, it is not a very favorable answer to say.

Yea I absolutely loved s3 eren. He's a lot more mature, vulnerable, much more humane and relatable. Especially that scene in the cavern when he realized that he isn't the chosen one or special, that he's just a normal dude who was handed his circumstances. That raw emotion when he cries and says he wants to give give founder titan back. Absolutely love s3 eren.

I used to like s4 eren because he's a real Chad but then chapter 139 so yea, old eren (s3 eren only) for the win.

I like the old Eren more because I didn't like some things that Eren did in the final season but I will maybe change my opinion when the final season part 2 comes out. I just need to get used to the new Eren

I actually have read the manga after watching the final season. While it is better than the anime, I don't like the direction it went to after the timeskip. (also the ending is incredibly disappointing)
