| Ending or not, I feel like with the introduction of Frill, has messed it up, but in other ways, I don't think the plot is that bad (kinda is tho tbh) Not only has the plot twisted into something almost totally different and we have yet to find out all of what happens, but we're also gonna finish it all in some half hour special??? I feel like that's way toooo rushed. I do believe they should have taken on a second season instead of cramming it into the final episode. Even though alot of things were resolved, that's a plot twist I feel shouldn't be crammed. |
| How to fix series? Remove Frill/Thanatos/whatever shit those stupid entities are and make a proper ending, keeping the idea of adolescence problems without that spontaneous "god of death" shit. |

| This series is a good example of "all of the anime was good, it's just the ending I'm conflicted about" situation. In all honesty, to me the ending doesn't have to be good let alone perfect. I got what I wanted: 1. Pretty looking visuals 2. A substancial and impactfull story 3. Compelling backstory 4. ending is questionable, but I got more than enough controversy in this anime, to make up for that ending, so I'm satisfied. |
