THIS IS A NOVEL ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS VOLUME. NOTE: THE REDUNDANCY CHAPTER IS THE SEQUEL TO THE MAIN MUSHOKU TENSEI SERIES, SPOILERS ABOUT THE ENDING ARE PRESENT.
----------------------------------------
The first volume is titled "Wedding of Norn" (written in katakana), so it's pretty obvious what it will be about. And who's the lucky husband?

Definitely no surprise there, but I do have mixed feelings about this. Then again, the same thing happened with Rudy as he married his childhood goddess Roxy. Age and race difference does not matter in the world of Mushoku Tensei, and Orsted did say the two were bounded by fate to marry in every timeline.

Called it.
Gave it away with Rudeus saying "A bit complex"
Now I don't know what are the candidates for Aisha's husbando...
Still though,it feels weird...Yeah mixed feelings alright.

Really hope Aisha marries someone cool. I won't stand it if he's a loser.

what is up with the Greyrat siblings and older partners lol
“How strange and foolish is man. He loses his health in gaining wealth. Then, to regain his health he wastes his wealth. He ruins his present while worrying about his future, but weeps in the future by recalling his past. He lives as though death shall never come to him, but dies in a way as if he were never born”

Age difference doesn't matter in that world because each race have different life spans. Look at Cliff and Elinalise.

"Hey, mama yo!"
lolRudeus.

Even though I'll accept Ruijerd as Norn's husbando.I hope there's a scene where Rudeus challenges Ruijerd and go "You'll never have my daughter/sister as long as I'm here!" just for shit and giggles.
Like one of those cliche stuff in romcom xD.
If its Rudeus I can see him doing it.

*Edit
The real issue that we should be worried about is Aisha's husbando.
I can't think of anyone that's a potential husband to her...
Well going by the trend from the Greyrat family....Orstred?

i don't think so Orsted made it seem like he has the hots for Norn/Ruijerd's daughter.

I wonder if he had lovers in the past.
During his first loop,When he was still naive at best.
Eris maybe? He seems to be somewhat familiar with her on a personal level on their first meeting.

*Edit
Second chapter.
As I thought,I thought I was prepared but I wasn't.Still pretty hard to swallow about Norn's marriage.
Fully sympathized with Rudeus there in the end.I'll probably do the same thing if my Sister's marriage topic came up.Pointing out the bad stuff then inevitably accept it in the end.
Although I won't engage in a little skirmish lol

Third Chapter:

i am happy Norn "won" against Aisha but now I feel sorry for Aisha. From the sounds of what she was saying she stuck in an unrequited love and she doesn't fully release it nor wants to "escape" it. Wonder if Orsted hasn't said anything to Rudi about it because well in all other Loops Aisha has ended up in some terrible fate, something like a nobles plaything. Will be interesting to read Aisha's Story that the author tends to write

no it was never said as such but it could be inferred that Aisha would have had a "bad end" story had rudi never been born, starting at the moment before her birth. Think about had Rudi not been alive how do you think the conversation between Paul, Zennith and Lilith would have ended when Lilith said she was pregnant?

Hope Lucy doesn't get burdened by her Papa's achievement and tries to overcome it like that Alexander kid.
Well she seems to be fine with it so I guess she's safe.

So Arus x Aisha...?! :O
Tbh wouldn't be even surprised lol but I wonder if they'll allow that close of a family relationship.

Also...Fuck those kids bullying The daughter of Goddess Roxy!

Finished the first volume.

Actually, this was alright for a start. Typical MC dies by a freak incident although his real life character (before being reborn in the new world) really turns me off. No wonder his family members disowned him. I kinda like his chemistry with Roxy so far out of any characters from the first volume. Hopefully, we'll get good relationship development between him and his family members as well.

Dat Ghyslaine though..

The Redundancy sidestories made the whole series even better for me and more satisfying to read in the end. I've really gone from disliking this to really liking this series now. What a journey.

Really liking it to really loving it to it's definitely one of my favorite series now after feeling so emotional with these side stories truly signalling the end for the series along with vol 24*.
