| Kinda sad since the manga is pretty lit. The art in it is very good. But this is a mess. But it is so bad it is good. But all I can say is that the fight coreography in this anime is 10/10. It is hard to find anime group battles that have a realistic fight coreogprahy but this honestly has the best one I have seen. Too bad the execution of everything else is shit |

| Yeah this show will definitely go down in the history books, not for anything good but at least people will remember the name “Ex-Arm” for years to come. Also seems after about 500 entries I have finally found a show deserving a rating of 1. It’s a shame because this could’ve been a solid 6 if this had traditional animation. |

It's not like it's only sometimes in the background or for action. It's the characters themselves! This means not only are you constantly looking at it but bad CGI is the absolute worst at conveying emotion. So you have a bunch of souless robots pretending to be humans for a cast as a result. That plus the fact the pacing and story was mediocre at best with how the anime portrayed it so there was nothing to grant the anime value to make up for the CGI. |

| I don't think it deserves such a low rating. Horrendous animation is obviously inexcusable, but that is the only major thing and not enough to justify such score. Story still might turn out to be interesting. Kemono Friends, for example was also initially bashed for terrible CG animation, but turned out to be a decent show in the end. Gibiate, on the other hand, did not had a single, even remotely redeeming quality. Compared to it, Ex-Arm is a masterpiece. |

It's not the setting (trashy isekai), but a mixture of character development and thriller realisation with powerless heroes. Though I agree the people bashing so hardly Ex-Arm are probably those who rate high God of High School. At this frame I was trying to find an excuse for the anime to be doing this. I thought it was because the world was a simulation and the 3D character was the only real person around. I mean, wouldn't it be a judicious use of 3D models? Turns out it's probably budget... Or laziness. |
