| Obviously this is very early, but might as well get this thread started now. This is a Chinese anime so I'm honestly not expecting great things, but the poster looks really nice and I like the premise. |

| Possibilities: 1) Netflix acquisitions are currently in the process of being confirmed. In the past couple of days, Piano no Mori was confirmed Netflix exclusive worldwide, while Hisone to Maso-tan has been confirmed for domestic simulcast on Netflix within Japan, with the international situation unclear. http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-1009025/spring-2018-anime?fpid=57448211 I think that if this show were going to be on Netflix at all, it would probably have been confirmed by now. 2) CR has in the past not started a simulcast until a week into the show's run (example: Tsugumomo). They didn't announce having it, either, until it suddenly went up with both episodes 1 and 2, and the show simulcasted same-day from then on. Or CR might get it with a mandatory delay of a few days. 3) CR has simulcast several other Chinese (co)productions, but the Chinese end of this is a different studio in Taiwan. The license holders may have decided not to license it for international simulcast, meaning there'll be no official subtitled release by anyone. I think we should assume this worst case for now, and if it's not on CR by the 17th then it's pretty clearly this. |
| Just watched both ep 00/01, and unless they change the format of the show so that it is a legitimate full-length anime, don't get your hopes up about any fansubbers picking it up either. -_-;; Either watch it raw like I did, or wait til local licensed BD release. ><;; I DID like what I've seen so far, and I could EASILY see myself loving this show, so long as more of future episodes are more of the show and less live-action seiyu filler. -_-;;; |
