This isn't very good. Why do they even?
I would have prefered mushoku tensei or something instead of this.

I like how you can somehow determine that based on basically nothing.

Didn't you know? It's pretty much the norm these days to talkshit about isekai stuff. But you don't see them whining about all those school settings or other overused craps. They have a selective vision and selective memory.

This is a "common-sense breaker isekai". I don't recall there being one of these yet, so calling it generic is really ignorant. Knights&Magic might barely count as such, but it's rather on the lower end in that respect.

The only true "common-sense breaker isekai" series whose anime adaptions were announced are really only this and Death March.

Also this series is one of the first reincarnation (i.e. not just merely transported, but reborn as a baby) isekai series. Knights&Magic being the only other one that comes to mind.

It's good at first but the novelty start to wear off each passing chapter. Still decent read if you are into romcom since the rom part is quite straight forward.

so, kinda like rakudai kishi no cavalry? so no then... thanks...

imho, even rakudai is better than this... rakudai still has some conflict in its plot even though its pretty mediocre...
while the MC in this one is just totally have it easy and OP af... seems like a story written to be a total self insertion of teenage neet who wish to have love and admiration which he cant get in real life...

No Game No Life shows how OP characters still could have interesting battle/match
Konosuba shows how isekai genre could be interesting using comedic way
Re Zero shows that adding realistic things into fantasy world could be interesting

And here we are anyway, back to generic fantasy world genre...
Already read some of the manga chapters, probably gonna pass on this one...

Then check

Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?
Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu
Sayounara Ryuusei, Konnichiwa Jinsei
Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken
Spirit Migration

They are others where MC is actually reborn (reincarnated) instead of transported.

I was talking about those series that got an anime adaption at least announced.

You must have missed Youjo Senki earlier this year, then.
Also, we need an adaptation of Honzuki no Gekokujou as an Isekai-full tensei. I would definitely watch that one, especially with good seiyuu for the main cast.

I read the Manga, and I can happily say that it's not Harem.

There is only love interest for the MC, and it's a pretty official relationship, and most of the rest of MC's female friends treat him respectfully as a true-to-goodness friend without the Harem antics and Lucky Sukebe, as they all behave like real people instead of some Dere and family status/racial/Loli tropes.

The same is true of MC's male friends, of which the closest are the Prince, and the MC's mentor and father figure is his Grandpa.

This is proof of how Isekai and High Fantasy Anime/LN can be done without the Harem crap.
I am someone that would like to watch a Harem Anime with 2 male leads that each gets their own harem company of girls from the main cast. For example, 1st male lead gets a company of 4 girls and 2nd male lead gets 2-3 girls etc.

Konosuba and Re Zero's MCs, Kazuma and Subaru, doesn't have a Male Best Friend, while Kenja no Mago's MC, has both a Love Interest and a Male Best Friend, so this MC is your Typical Riajuu MC. But Riajuus are actually quite common in real life anyways, since many people who have girlfriends or wives would also have best friends of the same gender.

Harem MCs are not Riajuus, because in real life, nobody has harems or have 3 or more of the opposite sex romatically interested in someone ( admiration, obsession and fanboying is not romance ) except for those involved in Polygamous Marriages, and the amount of people involved in that Marriage is less than 0.1 percent of Earth's population now.

When will this be aired ? Autumn 2018 or Winter 2019 ?

The anime is worth watching for MC's close friend, Prince August von Earlshide, as I think he's the best and most interesting male sidekick character for an MC of an LN series in quite an extremely long time. Prince also has his own loyal girl like the MC. His imouto is also very cute.

What are the chances of this being aired by Autumn 2018 ? Has the voice acting just started, or the drawings for the storyboard for all the planned episodes not finished yet ??

Will Winter 2019 or beyond be a more realistic time for airing ?
