| the op was a little good (eh?) but ep was quite interesting and their facial expression gave me some of the best boner of 2017 ( the best one was from eren's screaming ) ed was most informative.... P.S: all the girls in this show seem to have "lips"....(pretty weird right?) |

Kakegurui doesn't seem at all similar to Kaiji, so i don't get the correlation you are claiming. I had fun too, but i think you missed something. The overexxagerated faces said it all. This series seems primarily intent on being over the top and bombastic in a shounen kind of way. Kaiji was a high stakes suspense type show, Kakeguui seems like it'll be crazy fun. |

| From someone who hasn´t read the manga, I was really surprised with this first episode. It might be just me, but I felt that this episode was really .. "energetic". I actually got hooked into the game they were playing and found my self wanting Jabami to woop that bitch out of the table. My only worry is that , with such great first episode, it might fall short .. Let's hope it can keep up the quality. |

| Holy crap! The facial expressions of these gorgeous girls when they're excited or feeling so vile. Gaaaah! Hahaha. That was a good pilot episode. Idk anything about gambling, and I'm not even playing it, but I'll still continue watching this show. This show got my curiosity now. The OP is really goood. Ugh. That animation. |

| So basically the story is Kaiji is a high school girl and she has orgasm while gambling? Neat The first episode was good. I liked the animation, facial expressions, ost and VO, so its a good start. OP is good. Would be better off without the fanservice though |

| The story is not really new, it remind of me Death Parade, No game no life, etc. But then again, this kind of male MC is every where throughout the anime histories and very disappointing, I can pretty much guess the whole story of this male MC already. I really hate sissy male MC What caught my eyes was the facial expression. So, I decided to give it a shot. |

| Enjoyed the psychological theme of the gambling rock paper scissors game. Male mc is quite uninteresting at the moment. The ecchi OP is not for me, but it didn't scare me away. Don't know if this is the type of anime that I'll enjoy, but we'll see in the future episodes I guess. Overall i'd say it was an alright first episode. |

| Interesting first episode with a interesting setting and theme. Though Yumeko may look to be a kind and innocent girl on the surface she looks like she has some skill and guts when it comes to gambling. Meari though is one hell of an opponent for her though. To think that the first game that they gamble on is RPS though. Still an interesting variation of it though and reading the flow seems to be an important element here. But man the tension for the games though is really something. Hmm wow Yumeko sure carries a lot of cash on her. Hmm when she gets real Yumeko's personality completely changes. The red eyes was a nice touch. She was pretty scary though. Turning the tables on Meari though by using her own threat was funny. Yumeko is surprisingly perceptive as well in determining that Meari was cheating. Man the tension for the second game is far more than the first. Seeing Meari suffer a reversal was funny though. Man Yumeko is really scary when she's serious like when she snapped at Meari as she was trying to recover. And just like that Yumeko showed her true strength and showed that she's not someone to mess with. So the one giving the orders to the cheaters was Ryouta as part of his job as Meari's pet. Hmm it seems that Yumeko is also willing to help those that are innocent as well. This was a pretty strong first episode that did a great job introducing the setting and theme as well as the main characters. |

| A decent start, like the OP, but can't say I like it overall. Characters are ok, but I can't compare this to Kaiji not at all, until I see a better gambling scheme and better characters.Ok-ish characters, would like to see the premise more and how it'll go on. It relies too much on the psycho characters, which is fine, but a turn off for giving characters fear of losing so seeing Blondie didn't really made me feel much. I'll have to wait for future episodes to give a better impression. (I'm actually watching Kaiji at the same time, and I can't really compare this to Kaiji at all even my first episode standards but I can see it improving hopefully) It's an OK for me |

| Now that is how you do a first episode- I was pretty much enthralled from start to finish. The OP has stunning visuals although I'm not a huge fan of the song, but the ED song is catchy as hell. All that yuri and fanservice lol Jabami is definitely an interesting character because she's clearly unhinged, but the fact that she is genuinely sweet and pretty simple outside of gambling makes her much more creepy than someone like Saotome- who is just a two-faced sore loser who likes to rig the games. Looks like Saotome has been demoted to "pet" status given the preview...but does that mean MC is free or does he automatically become Jabami's pet since she was the winner? Good stuff so far, but I do wonder if there's going to be something more on the horizon- if it's just an episodic series with Jabami showing how much of a crazy risk-taker she is and MC looking shocked in the background...then I can see it getting very old very fast. However if we get some stuff about the hierarchy, the student council and some more interesting characters, this could turn into one helluva ride! |

(Btw, 10,000,000 yen is only 100,000 Usd) Not everything fictional has to conform to reality, that Should Be obvious. Please dont use fluff words like Plot and Development. it makes you sound like a pretentious anime reviewer who thinks he knows his shit. Kakegurui most likely is not gonna be a story with a lot of plot progresson (12 episodes adaptation of a much longr manga). You really shouldn't expdct every anime to tell a full story, becauee that is often not the intention. |

| The art style is like a weird combination of Redline and the Clannad Movie. Jabami's character is really creatively done but I like Saotome's better because she clearly has more personality. |
| OK, I've got somewhat mixed feelings about the first episode. Let's start with the opening. Quite different which I liked. Somewhat reminds me of ATOM: The beginning OP. While it had some sexyears parts I still enjoyed the OP. First 5 minutes, was I the only one that saw those blurs? I found them annoying and stupid. Butt and bosom shots felt unnecessary and made me thought of it as a fanservice, which for was distracting in this show. Next over the top faces. Just wow can't say much else about it. Was kind of fitting tbh. Let's talk about the characters. Pochi is already just aargh, a wimp, for now I hate him. Twin tails girl is the type of character I dislike. Overconfident with no basis. Jabami was somewhat saving the episode. The game even though it was fun it was also predictable and lackluster. Even though I didn't find out the trick. Couldn't they've come up with a better ending? I understand they wanted to go with how exciting the adrenaline/ahegao can get, but man 1:20 of her walking, shaking hips, jiggle physics, while it is raining on her. It just makes me think of it as another fanservice anime. So far it seems that the animations and art irk me the most. The characters still have time to grow a bit. |
