Now I am watching this video and it made me come to a conclusion. what's that?

Majority of you don't speak Japanese, so it's super difficult to really know what is going on behind closed doors unless someone from the team speaks out and animenetwork or Koktaku is on top of it. The only other way we actually gonna learn anything our favorite media is have a friend or paying a translator to translate you articles.

So at the end of the day we are just struck theory crafting and google translating tweets. This sucks man. It is difficult to be right about anime.

How about learning Japanese then? Nothing you can do against obscured/wrong information and even if you do understand the language, how do you know the information is right? Really this has nothing to do with it being Japanese

Isn't that... like super obvious. It's a completely different language. Even then it could be wrong.

Us westerners (at least you guys) don't have a clue about what goes behind in the making of anime but still love making baseless assumptions on it. A pefect example would be the recent AoT S2 12 episode controversy.

Digibro here has a severe OCD to find the absolute truth behind the production of few controversial anime shows, specifically here Lupin III Fuma Conspiracy. But he apparently faced a lot of obstacles to find a reliable source and thus feels dejected and decided to upload a video on this.

It's pretty pointless from a casual's POV but it is not a bad thing to have facts checked. Problem is, we are not weeb enough to learn what all decisions are made behind making our favorite animu.

Well, that's what I interpreted from his video.

That's right. This is coming from someone studying Spanish. Information can still be wrong.

Well knowing any language when it comes to do these type of research projects is super helpful. For example, one of my profs told us a story of when he was in college. He was fluent in French and Portuguese. So in one of his classes he was able to do this whole big spill on the world cup in Brazil and what was going on. He was able to cite Brazilian newspaper he translated it himself.

Also sorry man. I'm doing Spanish at the moment. But yeah that is the best course of action if you really wanna know. Also yes information can be wrong but you need to apply what you learn back in grade and high school with researching scholarly sources. If I wanted to make a paper on the creator of Lucky Star and knew Japanese, I'll be checking anime magazines from Japan or any local papers. What you learned a decade ago can be very helpful in general if you wanna know something. You already know where to look for quality information.

i'd wager that it's difficult to really know what is going on even if you speak japanese
much information is not public and the anime creators have little reason to document their production anyway

But it is what it means lol, I'm a native Spanish Speaker, so I would know my dude Cx

Mala is just saying Bad but adding female to it, Malo is the same but with males, Mal is just bad in general. Now what you tried to do was gonna probably mess up, saying that to someone who doesn't understand how Spanish works, it being not a very literal language at all and such, in real life you would've said that in a playful tone, but you can't really do that with text lol, unless you use Jemoticons (Japanese Emoticons) since they're textual.

I meant the video, which the person on top of your quote already answered.

OT, most anime articles use basic level kanji, and they're pretty straightforward.

they're not really hard to translate, the problem is looking for the source, since you have to search them in japanese, which is a different matter altogether.

Basically, it's damn hard to know anything for sure when it comes to anime. And the best info is in Japanese, which is a pretty hard language.
The rest of the video is Digibro telling the story of himself trying to look something up to illustrate that.
