Am I the only one to be annoyed by how much they force the love triangle in this anime ? In all scene of this episode Atra was with Mika for no reason. (By the way she came to earth for no reason too no ?)
Japaneses love Harem, love triangle etc. But lol that is just too forced and unnatural, thanks to that Atra has just became a really annoying character.

I agree with you about the forcing love triangle part, I think those moments where they talk would be much better with just a one on one between Kudelia and Mika because she's beginning to influence him and so on.. Also their moments are just too cute :p

Gotta agree but that is because I am clearly in Kudelia faction. just hope they won't do something stupid like in Turn A Gundam.

Now Ein would become the serious treat for them with that upgrade and shit, and I am sure that he would kill one or two Tekkadan's member at his grand re-appearance. Now I wonder who.

Next episode, battle on earth. And I am curious with what kind of upgrade they could do to Barbatos.

Finally earth battle, and Barbatos didn't have booster installed because previous battle wow

I think this anime has got a second season, it's not possible in 5 episodes to fight Gjlahorn, help the blond girl, the old man to become the prime ministre and help mars to be free

Wow just realizing it's going to end in 5 weeks. Not enough time. Season 2 incominggggg. I can see a time skip in season 2 of a couple years.

Of course that faggot Ein is gonna come back superpowered and shit. I was so happy when I thought he died.

I know right? hahahahah
I'm already tired that he uses the same reason all the time to fight with tekkadan. I wanna revenge my boss! His former boss wasn't that important to the development of the serie. No one cares!

I almost facepalmed when Kudelia said she can do things by herself from now on so Tekkadan can leave.
I don't really think that's what she meant. Rather, she was really grateful for Tekkadan escorting her to Earth despite the danger but since they had no further obligation to give her assitance and that she had nothing to offer them in return, she has no right to demand of them to help her again.
So by saying "follow your own path", rather than telling them they were free to leave, she was telling them they were free to choose (and whatever decision they took, she would accept it).
That's more of a sign of humility than over-confidence, if you ask me.

Other than that I really enjoyed this episode: I know some people are annoyed by the "unoriginal" action-build up-action-build up structure of the episodes, but when each week provides quality content then I don't really see what's there to complain about.
I liked the argument between Orga and Biscuit, in that I didn't realize how necessary it was until it actually happened. Up until now the Tekkadan had always followed and supported Orga's orders without question, including Biske, a very valuable member of the team, even though many of the boss's decisions seemed to go against his principles and his desire to keep all his brothers safe.
It's only natural that Orga would start taking the Tekkadan's faith in him for granted, and even more natural that Biscuit would start questionning his boss's choices as they rush head first into more and more dangerous missions.
As such, I believe their little confrontation was necessary in order for them both to understand each other's perspective a little better.

Now about Ein... Eh. It's a shame that the writers are pushing him so hard to be Mika's big nemesis when his motives as well as his character are so shallow and his piloting skills are so lacking (Gali gali trying his hardest to save him was pretty cute tho). Also iirc the Alaya Shiki surgery is only performed on growing kids, isn't it? Because the implants only fuse with them or smth. So how is it supposed to work on an adult?
Will most of Ein's body have to be turned into a machine in order for the operation to succeed (like in Thunderbolt) ?

What I got from that was the Joan of Arc feel (the writer seems to be really pushing on her). Even though she's still a damsel in distress, she's continuously going for that strong image of hope. I feel like Fumitan lmao. Her character development, in general, is so jerky to me ugh. There's no fluidity. It feels very forced. The writing frustrates me a lot. More so for her character and the love triangle. How you see it is okay too c:

A nice, slower episode.

Ein is actually going to become a cyborg?? Damn, never thought that could actually happen.

Damn, Carta has the authority that's above the Oceanic Federation? Or is it someone above her and she's just following order? Let's see what she's got for her second round...

That must suck for Kudelia, to finally get to earth only to find out that she can't have the negotiations properly unless Tekkadan goes out of their way to help her further. She did the right thing by absolving them of her desires.

I hadn't really thought about it before, but that there was a bit of a falling out within Tekkadan was actually pretty fitting, especially since they're taking on progressively more dangerous tasks. I don't think either Biscuit or Orga were wrong; they did need to balance out each other's perspectives though. I liked Nadi's contribution in talking to Biscuit as well.

Mika stubbornly refusing to eat the fish and even trying to talk Kudelia out of it was hilarious. That fits him so well, but it's probably the most child-like thing he's done so far in the series.

Looking forward to the upcoming episodes.

Yeah, Atra is probably the worst character in the series and it would be better without him. All she does is cook and hang around Mika for... a childish crush.
Other than that, it's been a good set up episode. This Makai guy has a presence and made an impression. And I didn't see Biscuit's decision coming, tho the plot point won't really amount to anything since it looks like it will be solved next episode.

Biscuit is my favorite, I wish they focus a little more on his backstory too.

I'm also disliking the romance in the series, for me everything that involves romance in this series is a joke. Probably because I'm not interested in Mika, Atra or Kudelia's love life. I used to like Kudelia but she's such a Relena Peacecraft 3.0 that it's gotten on my nerves.

Lol it was pretty funny when everyone was scared of the fish at the beggining. But anyways dam I feel sorry for Biscuit losing his bro who was prob stressed about himself for not saving the Union leader and things not going according to his plan. Once more Tekkadan is in trouble and I hope they will find a way around it with no deaths.

I think it's stupid/unbelievable that Biscuit would suddenly quit Tekkadan after his older brother commits suicide.

1. They've been separated for 10+ years.
2. He betrayed them.
3. He had like 10 minutes of screen time.
4. After going thru all of that with the homies, I really don't think he would leave.

All in all, a dumb episode.

Surprised these kids that were once at the bottom of the barrel are turning down a meal no matter how weird it is. But hey, it was pretty funny 😋

Looks like the next episode and probably the rest of this season will be filled with a lot of action. Looking forward to it!

Kind of a slow episode; I feel like not much happened. We found out Biscuit's brother ended his own life, the boys ate fish and met with that beardo, Ein is becoming a cyborg and prompting people to question the purity aspect of Gjallarhorn. The purity stuff was really interesting to me. The old man just made me think of like an RPG - complete a quest, get to the new town, get a new quest. Biscuit almost quitting was interesting, but I assume he won't since he had that talk with Yukinojo. I'm interested in seeing what Carta has in store for them in the next episode.

Merribit just got called beautiful. Orga turns his head.
Biscuit will leave Takkadan?
Savarin commited jisatsu.
Carta is coming.

Yeah I thought it was a bizarre twist for Biscuit as well... Did not fit the rest of the show at all.

"You scared me. Is something the matter?"
"No."
That was funnier than it had any right to be, not to mention Mikazuki and the boys not vibing with fish (poor Atra tho)

Have a really bad feeling about Biscuit.

A good episode that highlights the relationship between Orga and Biscuit. This series is coming to an end... what's left to come?
