| I usually give shows at least two episodes before I drop them. But a few I can think of that I did this with: Clannad Ah! My Goddess (had nothing against it, was just a little too boring) Girls Bravo! |
| The new poke'mon series. I wanted to watch it to see if the series improved at all, but turned it off the moment the anouncer said "Ten year old ash begins his adventure..." Its NOT possible for him to be ten..not because its a 'anime' but because he even had a birthday in one of the movies lol. |

I agree, I think we both know what we're talking about. lol Yeah it's really a touchy area for many people and I'm not exactly a fan of it myself, however I try to give it a chance.. Because some do play it out well in some animes, but if they don't it's just a train wreck... Which it was, kudos for you for dropping it in 10 minutes, I wish I would have dropped it sooner as well. The way they dropped it on us was just awful and caught me totally off-guard so it just made it worse. Agree with you on the other anime to. Don't watch animes just for fan service, otherwise might as well watch hentai! Some animes that are just fan service are just bleh. I'll check out Suzuka and Shakugan though, I've heard of them and had planned to possibly watch them but never bothered to try them. Will check them out for sure now though. |

| I've dropped a fair amount of anime but the only one I've dropped after one episode was Code Geass, as much as I love CLAMPs work to pieces, Code Geass was the most boring thing ever, I was just falling asleep, I was like if I can manage to get through the episode I'll consider continuing but I just had to drop it. Oh there was others such as Sailor Moon, too much crying enough said though I love magical girl animes. Azumanga Daioh, so stupid and annoying I couldn't watch it and Maria-Holic, the girl was too annoying with constant nosebleeds. I almost dropped Hack//Sign after one episode but kept with it thinking it would get better but by episode ten I couldn't stand anymore. |
| Dragon Crisis! - Couldn't stand the main female character and the plot sounded so stupid. I may actually pick it up again if I ever feel like giving it another try. Toriko - Only watched this for the crossover with One Piece. Toriko actually looks great. Might watch this when the series ends, ceebs catching up. xD Monsuno - Randomly watched this on TV. Looks like a Pokemon rip-off lmao. |
