Should I type that in Kanji? Kate made her appearance in this episode! Along with Aso being awesome as usual, this was the best episode yet. I lol'ed multiple times. | The Japanese fail at pretending to be foreigners speaking Japanese. At least Kate's accent was much less offensive than most, and she is a cute character (lololol at "your Japanese is weird", Natsumi: ;___;). Once again, the cats were awesome, although I'd like to see the return of Kuma. |

| Well, Spanish is 2nd most taught language in the U.S. and the Spanish I've heard from other Americans is down right horrible if they remember any at all. Imagine how hard it is for these Eastern-language speakers to try and speak Engrish. The best English I've heard on a Japanese Audio was from Ghost Hunt, the character was British and he spoke perfect English albeit with an American accent. I just find the English in anime as something more to laugh about. I love the new character and I hope we'll more of her engrish. |

| I lol'd a lot. Huge ginormous comic potential right there in Kate. Still love this series. It's weird. I wonder if my Japanese sounds as dodgy to native speakers as Kate's did to me? I find how they've done her face and hair just slightly differently from everyone else is pretty subtle and impressive. |
| "Sou nan des kerr?" o_O In the Japanese class at my university, we know very clearly that it's 'desu ka'. ka. You can't apply any southern or cajun accent to deform that to 'desu kerr'. I agree; they're trying too hard to force an accent. ^^; I know native English speakers pronounce a lot of Japanese incorrectly .. but not like the way Kate does. But it's cute, though. And I'm having more fun with this series now. +Awesome points for Aso. And Buchi's English sounds a lot smoother than Kate's, heh. |

| This episode is the best in the show so far. It has surpassed the cat episode for me...even though it still has cats. Kate's Japanese accent does make me wonder. I can understand now how some of the people I've met say the pronunciations are good but I need to work on the accent placements. When I heard Kate speak I was like "wha?" Yes Buchi sounds better in English than Kate. |

| Omg this was one of the best episodes so far IMO XD Kate is a great character! Her and the Persian cat's English is pretty good :O Plus her Japanese ... I like how they gave her an accent (although it DOES sound a bit too much) to distinguish it. ALSO CANADIAN PRIDE!!! Haha XD Loved them trying to explain things to her ... I'd probably be equally confused if I went to Japan XD Plus all the trollish senpais don't help as Natsumi knows ... really nice moment at the end when she got the flowers for the handbook. So sweet :) So it turns out that Kate owns the foreign cat huh ... plus traveling cats! Oh my :P Looks like next episode is back story on the "Ryo-Fuu combo"! :D |

| Cat-Japanese, lol.. Well, who knows, if speech of cats actually makes sense.. I have no idea.. It does in a sense of intonations and stuff.. Would they differ in different parts of the world?.. Intonations, I mean.. Who knows.. In human world.. We have different stuff for gestures, for example.. At one part of world one gesture can be favorable or rude, for example.. Maybe intonations are more kind of similar?.. But also humans from different parts of world might or might not be more familiar with different parts.. Especially nowadays.. And there are also such things as Germans sounding as if more aggressive, or French as if more horny, and other stuff.. While they not necessary will mean those things.. Of course, it's not very precise things.. But there might still be some differences.. Especially as it's about perceiving intonations, emotional tone and stuff.. What might perceive animals.. Natsumi got depressed.. |

| Kate's not as awesome as Karen from Kinmoza but she's still a hoot. Loved the senpais, I wish they had more screen time but next episode looks to rectify that. Also lol at the return of the "relative bowl", that joke never gets old. |
