BTW - the animation team has upped the ante recently and the general look of the episodes has improved a lot. |
| Duval's attempts at winking were hilarious. I am a little disappointed that Law didn't give Kid the finger, but I can understand why they left it out. I guess his guesture could be conceived as offensive. Ending was pretty awesome and really got me pumped for the auction. |

Was totally thinking the same thing, pretty sure there was a new tune in there somewhere too. Really good episode, love to see Rayleigh make his first appearance as the first mate of Roger, pretty epic stuff ! I didn't get a lot of the jokes when reading the manga for this ep. but they transferred over into the anime really well and found them really fun =) |

| That was a real short episode, even though it was the same length all the others. I was kind of hoping for different seiyuu than what we got, but can't really do much about that. They don't seem wrong for the characters, but they don't seem right either. |

| Man, the anime really brought out my emotions in this episode. I honestly wanted to punch that disco guy in the fucking face really bad. Glad Rayleigh took care of it for me. :) Next episode should be awesome, and the episode after that will be the beginning of the highly anticipated shitstorm. -P By the way, new opening should be coming next week or the week after. |

| Wow this episode made me truly realize how cruel the world government really is. The world nobles are just rich bastards with probably all the belli in the world, making money off of slave trading. Damn this era is really fucked up. It all makes sense now, why black beard stated that this era needs to change. Those guys are truly the worst scum of the earth that i have seen one piece so far. Killing people is one thing for crimes like most pirates do. But using people and regular citizens or pirates as just objects for amusement is just tottaly going over the line. If i know luffy, seeing as how he isn't one for reason if you know what i mean? He would probably end up just going ballistic at the meer sight of watching people being used and tortured like that. in any case can't wait for the straw hats to beat those bastards to a pulp and ruin that damn auction house. The first appearance of Rayliegh was pretty cool. This is where they reveal that he is the first mate of Gol D roger. Truly a legendary man. I can't wait to see more of him. |

| The end of this episode was great, I thought Caimie was more than a little screwed and thought that maybe Luffy and the others had already made it there...but then it is revealed that Raliegh is there...and things just got very interesting. |

| Just loved the ending XD. Rayleigh just takes a sip of rum or whatever and solidifies his position as a One Piece "heavyweight". I liked the intro to haki too :D |

| I love how One Piece makes you really love who you're supposed to love and REALLY makes you hate the ones you're supposed to hate. That's about efficient storytelling and using of tropes. And HOLY FUCK, Gol D. Roger's RIGHT-HAND??? Damn I was not expecting this Rayleigh guy to be so fucking legendary, shit is going to be awesome |
