| Brutal. The animation was sick. That evoluted dempsey roll is portentous but dangerous. Wondering if he's going to keep using it in future matches, it could cause him a severe injury. Worst damage Ippo has caused to an opponent yet and it was well deserved on that evil prick lol. |
| Damn, what a great fight! I LOVED when Ippo made a guts pose, finally he is showing off a little bit! And he damn well deserved it after that brutal fight. What annoyed me to no end though was that the stupid audience cheered for Sawamura... WTF?! That guy is literally an evil, cheating psychopath and pretty much shit all over the sport of boxing even in that match alone. Whether you think he's strong or has good technique shouldn't matter, this guy deserves NO applause. I was happy that Ippo hurt him real good though. Overall I am hyped. This and Aoki's title match probably were my favorites after season 1, so I am glad the franchise can still impress me. I love it! 5/5 |

| I wonder why everyone is suddenly cheering for Sawamura to comeback? Takamura has some really good naming sense, I guess that if Miyata comes up with a counter against Ippo's evolved Dempsey roll, it would be named Anti- Anti-Anti-Anti-Anti-Anti-Dempsey roll. |

| Sawamura seems to show some respect for Ippo even through all those cheating tactics. It was a great fight I hope we see him as a better person in the long run |

| Takamura got the name right. Amazing fight. I would've cheered for Sawamura too, he gave his all and it was one hell of a show. Sendo's speech gave me chills, but he left out one important fact about Kusabe and Sawamura's reaction. Admittedly would've felt out of place since he wasn't shown with him in the anime since a few chapters were skipped. For anyone interested definitely worth checking out. Start 471 for more backstory and 502 for the hospital scene. |

| At the beginning of the episode right after the Anti Dempsey Crusher landed right on Sawamura's face for the first time, I imagined how epic and brutal it'd be if Ippo ended up getting him into another Dempsey Roll while he was stunned if it were not for the time out. With that in mind, one can easily imagine how amazed I was to see that he did exactly that and more at the final moments of the match! It's a good thing that Ippo had barely escaped severe injuries and it looks like Sawamura's become a changed man after getting his ass handed to him so badly by someone who didn't have to rely on dirty fighting. |

| damn, finally madhouse deliver something similar to 1st series, the OST maybe doesn't the same, but does better than NC, and the animation director is much better. though the last still lack the free style camera from the 1st series. one thing does lack though, is character department, it feels as sawamura was just ass. he had the bit of loneliness thingy but that wasn't well given depth like the 1st series. hell, even hawk got little more than this. so in the end we just got hawk version to ippo with meat references lol. still best ippo's fight for long time now. think it's... since 1st series sendou match. NC was lousy on ippo, and the first seadog match in rise felt dull. |

| massive ippo W but i honestly thought sawamura was gonna get up again, ended way sooner than i thought. the anti-anti-anti-dempsey tho jesuss. ippo really tore himself up. that was a satisfying K.O with solid animation. |

| Changing to 9/10, this episode was f*cking awesome!! Go Ippo man woah. Finishing him off with the OG dempsey roll too, so good. Gave season 2 an 8/10 despite the amazing Takamura vs Hawk fight. Mainly because of annoying weight management, the crap with barf-michi, and how Hawk was allowed to get away with too much outside of the ring. Highlights this season so far would be Aoki’s title much and this climax!! Keen to watch more |
