| This season has been very good, and I believe will get a 2nd season some time in the near future. What do you guys think? Is Machine Doll worthy of a 2nd season? Or no? |
| I think LN is well recived in Japan. Dunno about anime sales but there are enough material if they decide to mae more. |

Well there's no 2nd season announced as of yet, but it could go the route of Date a Live and announce it at the end of the 12th episode, or it could be announce it down the line. If it's popular enough it will continue. But if it doesn't it won't feel finished since the end of the series will likely have to do with the Raishin avenging his family's death. |

Wow, the titles of each episode makes the OVA's special sound extremely reassuring. Can't wait for all that plot. |

| I'm unsure. Plot-wise sure would be welcome, I don't expect much answers in the last episode or OVAs. Certainly there's a lot of material. I heard the pre-orders are doing well , but we will just for their releases. This is probably the biggest thing Lerche has ever done. Media Factory has already 5 other titles on adaptation process and the LN-based work from them to have a sequel are Haganai the Zero no Tsukaima, if I'm not forgetting anything. So, if it eventually comes I give it al least two years of wait. |

| They better make a second season tbh. The finale felt lackluster and left issues unsolved. I heard the anime series adapted 3 volumes from the LN.. |

| Welp, now it all comes down to sales I guess. This season only adapt up to volume 3, and there's still 9 volumes left. If they follow this patterns, we'll get at least 3 more seasons but in the end it all depends on those BD/DVD sales :/ |
| well the ending pretty much said "to be continued" without any real conclusion whatsoever, so yeah this definitely needs a second season and yeah afaik the novels are pretty popular so I'm quite sure it'll happen |

There are 6 specials and 6 volumes of the BD's, so each volume will contain 2 episodes plus a special. Either way I love the comedy in this show, so I will be looking forward to these specials. |

| I am suprised, I agree with a lot of the folks on here it was not bad, but a lot people were upset about the character design and figured most of the posts would flame a second season on here. That said unfortunately an anime indicating a second season means zero. You have anime that flat out said we are getting a second season and nothing like Nyan Koi. Then you have anime having what appears to be a second season preview and nothing, like Crime Edge. Then you have plenty of shows that leave things open and just nothing ever happens. Problem is anime will always be a slave to sales, so no matter how much the creators will it, if the sales are not there we get nothing. And I don't think the sales here were hot. That said I hope for another season, sure the character design was a little weird, but once you get used to it, the show is pretty good. Also Frey is best girl. |
| I personally thought that this anime was kinda mediocre. I liked the character designs and the animation was interesting. The opening and ending themes were fantastic. However, the story was really confusing and I don't think it was done well. However, I would be interested in a second season, as I feel this series has potential. If no second season is announced, I'll probably start the light novel somewhat soon. |

I really liked the show... really enjoyed (despite of some main conversations parts that were difficult to interpret, that made me back a few time to see it again - i still have doubts in some parts).... I wish they make a second season! I really loved/love Yaya! I wanna see her again! I wanna see more of those battles..! Yaya "transformed" in episode 12 was freaking awesome! That horn and that red aura were awesome... Now, that she is probably a "Machine doll", i wanna see more of the show again! ;) I didn't see it yet, but they already ended up to release six (6) specials episodes (side-stories) of Machine-doll... but, of what i heard, they are just "side-story" (has i said) and only "fan-service" episodes.... I wanna a "SEQUEL" of the first season (with 12-24 episodes)... I hope one day they make it... <3 |

| It's been four years so i doubtful i will get a second season but To Aru did get a season 3 after so many years so it's possible at least. |

| I've found a discussion about this in a japanese forum and they also say that the possibilities are very thin, since the sales were somewhat unsatisfying. However, this doesn't mean the chance for a second season is zero. The last chance for an Announcement could be 2018~2019 |
