| The Earth Girl Arjuna transformation sequences trump all. Then again this may be cheating :P since the topic might refer to more "traditional" sequences. Second Puni Puni Poemi's transformation. The socks part makes me rofl every time. (Only found a clip from the dub, unfortunately: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTp-_IC7fP8 ) Third would be Nanoha's seen from the outside transformation as she falls from a building at the beginning of Nanoha As. I liked how the attack bounced off her, that answered the eternal "why does no one attack them while they spin around in nudie intermediate stages?" |

| The Tonde Buurin Transformation always makes me chuckle, and I have always enjoyed the Nurse Angel Rrirka Transformation because it manages to be girly, non-loli-fanservicey, yet convery power and readiness to kick butt ^_^ |

| I don't like a lot of magical girl series, so I'll just say Nanoha's transformation in the first season. I liked it when she kissed Raging Heart. It's a little ecchi, but I guess a lot of anime are ecchi nowadays. |

| Kaitou Jeanne's transformation is not bad. Although I guess Princess Comet's transformation is cute. Mermaid Melody's transformation is very nice. Although, if Sakura had a transformation she'd win. I guess I like the transformations!!! |

| The UG transformations are suprisingly well done considering the nature of the series. I can't really decide a favorite one off the bat though, I'm currently quite enjoying the transformations in Shugo Chara, can't wait till they show the last of Amus transformations, thinking back I think I liked the transformations in Okusama wa Mahou Shoujo quite a lot. The ones in Tokyo Mew Mew were quite decent too, especially Lettuce. I just hated that they started cutting them short, especially the side character ones. Ah well, my favorites tend to change depending on my mood. |

| Oh, I forgot to give a honorary mention to Kenshiro from Hokuto no Ken, I'm sure he's a magical girl too, his shirt ripping is a clear transformation scene, there is no other explanation why the shirt returns back on him everytime a while after it rips. |
