I have been watching anime for 4 years on a tight schedule. The way I recommend watching is:

Anything 20 or more episodes = 2 a day
Anything 19 or less = 1 episode.

That way they should end about the same time.

Still useful for tracking Anime but not like they are released that often. Sadly not a good database for Manga tracking since I do that a lot more.

Then the second half happens, and it becomes a lot less cute and adds a lot more plot twists, probably too many. It's still a very fun watch either way, I'm just not sure how good it actually is. I think Utena is better myself, fillers and all, but that's just my opinion. Penguindrum's motifs are integrated better, though, if it was random things appearing out of nowhere that you disliked about Utena (note that they have the same director).

Mawaru Penguindrum is a super cute show about two brothers trying to find the Penguindrum after making a deal with a god in order to save their very sick younger sister. But there are plenty of darker tones to what is going on despite how cute it looks. That's all I want to say, you should give it a try.

SAO is .hack crossed with Tower of Druaga. Fun show, but after each ep I have an urge to find my copy of .hack//Sign and rewatch it.

I'm really liking it. I really liked the first season though. I just saw it got picked up my crunchyroll, so I'm going to be a week behind.
