I just finished episode 2. It was pretty good. More interesting than the first one, since the first one was all set up. Of course they have a crazy dude, they always seem to have one in anime.

I downloaded the show as soon as it went up, I only just watched the first EP after seeing that it was now on crunchy.

I'm excited even though I feel as if I've already had the ending spoiled.

Finished episode 3. It was pretty good. An actually fight is going to happen soon, so next episode should be fun. :)

Ep 2, the players are all present and ready, glad Gilgamesh was shown to have some personality after his rather boring entrance in the first ep.

And yes, I totally broke out my copy of Fate/Stay Night and started reading it again. Only ever made it to day 4 last time I read it back in 08.

Finished episode 4. Hahah, Rider just comes in and tell everybody who he is. The fight was pretty cool, but didn't have to be as long as it was. Looking forward to next week's episode.

Watching this by Crunchy is kinda annoying in that I'm always an EP behind. A buddy at work has been watching the original and it amazes me how much more personality Saber has in this version. Though she also isn't being used by the weakest Magi ever this time.

I totally agree about Saber, the entire cast this season is so dynamic and interesting. This was easily my most anticipated anime in a while, and so far it hasn't disappointed yet (although I agree with Batmanfreak, the fight didn't need a whole ep devoted to it).

I also agree the cast is a lot more dynamic and interesting. I also have to agree that this anime is not disappointing at all, atleast not yet, unlike the rest of them.

Good battle and I do enjoy they didn't show us all the characters have to offer and instead have it broken up by an extra contender.

Let it keep developing.

#4 Really good fight, though they almost go overboard with the complements. Saber really walked right into that trap.

Edit #5
I really liked this EP, until they ended it with nothing but introductions and a few command spells having happened. Really wish something had actually happened.

Huh, I never really liked Gilgamesh in the first series (probably because you barely get to see him), but that conversation between him and Kirei was interesting...

I don't think it needs mentioning, but damn Fate/Zero is so glossy (especially that driving scene, explosion, or any of the city scenes)... I feel like I'm being spoiled somehow.

Those children who were kidnapped from their houses and then murdered after being placed in a cage are angry with you right now.

Otherwise its to have a rush ending of mass murder..

Illusions, all of them, no children were hurt in the making of this anime.

Finally got caught up and now finished with it. It was quite good. All the characters are interesting and the story as well. It ends on a cliff-hanger. Looking forward to watching the next part in the spring. :) 7.5/10.

I also used my time off for new years to catch up, kinda dissapointed at how very little has happened. Assassin killed twice and lancer's master has been replaced by his wife(evil and possibly in love with lancer). Then again at this point in the original only Rider had been killed and the fight with Beserker would be just about to get epic. So I'm being a bit harsh, but it was thanks in large part going into it expecting a 13 EP show and then finding out at the end it was only the first half.

Anyone else feel as if everyone has forgotten that Saber is badly wounded and can't fight at full power until Lancer is killed?

I gave the season a 7, mostly for just being half a story thus far. I expect as a series I'll be giving it a higher score.

Rider is my favorite, and Rin getting her own episode to save her friends was the standout episode.

The end got a little over the top, but I liked it a lot.

It was also pretty cool waiting to see the end at Anime Expo.
