| A totally offtopic note, Im rewatching Toradora right now and one detail catched my eye: Not a single person in this anime is smoking! I mean Toradora belongs to the more "realistic", slice-of-live shows but still I cant find this "scourge of humanity" at that high-school. Is it not as common in japan as it is in i.e. europe? |

We've only really seen them in places where smoking would be banned: school, and public places like restaurants. Further, I don't think it's in any of the characters' personality to smoke, and personally, when I was in high school, less than 5% of my graduating class smoked, so maybe it's just a European thing? |

| VERY NOOOOOOOOOOOOO This show is heading the exact direction that i DIDN'T want it to go. I just felt so enraged at minorin. I know it wasn't on propouse, but i simply can't make myself like her. Even if she is acting all up like that because she thinks Takasu should like Taiga, and not her, i find her rather annoying and stupid then ... dunno inteligent? And come on! Takasu is only deaf when Ami is confessing. That just blows. Well, i'm still in denial so i hope the next 8 episodes end up with Ami x Ryuuji. Who cares bout minorin! (Well, i don't, and i already know the reply, so you don't need to tell me im one of the few. lol) I would drop this series as well, just for the sake of not having to watch the end. Though, thinks to the fact that the author and the director are geniuses, and this series was (and i hope it continues like this) a masterpiece, i'm not dropping it! | well its just how people have said it's notable from the begging. it's just nice to see it with characters who have different personalities and traits, plus the journey towards the goal. If we wanted surprise, then we needed a harem here, or a different demographic. though im just a womaniser, Taiga's amazing with here notable Tsundere image. see if the male protagonist was like that, not only would i not be interested, it wouldn't turn me either ;) |

| I was saying that to look cool, but you got me there. No, actually the catch phrase of the Machiavelli philosophy is "the ends justify the means". I was trying to say something like since the end is with taiga, it should be all bout ryuuji x taiga without ryuuji's obsession for minorin. Thinking about it now, your idea follows more the Machiavelli philosophy then mine. This is why i always have bad grades in philosophy. (Even though i like it. I guess i'm becoming M, OH NOEZ!) |
| Oh my goodness. That was an excellent episode. Actually, when Taiga gave Kitamura the star, I had a bad feeling he would drop it or something. I was half right, that was so sad. Minorin felt terrible, I would've been crying my eyes out too. I'm just guessing here from self experience, Minorin doesn't want to like Ryuuji, or she feels guilty for already liking him. Guilty because of Taiga, because she believes maybe Taiga does hold feelings for Ryuuji, or...she may not want to love anyone else because she has some past with a heartbreak, which we learned from that one summer episode. Ryuuji talked about being able to fix the star, I took it as being able to fix Minorin's heart. ~ Oh Ami was especially cute in this episode. She's still my favorite. I'm excited for #19! Toradora is amaaaazing. <3 |

| Why do I feel like I totally missed the point? Somehow it would seem quite logical to me, if Minorin would confess her love for Taiga to Ryuuji and he'd figure she was crying because she can't do anything for Taiga (since Taiga loves Ryuuji) and Minorin only makes things worse. I'm such a gay shipper. But it would also seem a nice thing if Minorin actually has strong feelings for Ryuuji. It makes things complicated. |
| Minorin is such a mess. She needs therapy or something. I don't get why they started the upbeat ending music during the sad final scene. It was totally mis-matched. Ami can still go to hell. From the preview it looks as if Taiga is gonna unleash some anger soon! Yay! |
