What video games slam you with nostalgia when you see the cover or play it again after years? for me it would be kingdom hearts 1 & 2 and FFX and probably a lot of other ps2 games

Oh God, yes.

Doom I & II also make me nostalgia so hard that I want to build a time machine.

Also, this freakin' game:

Earthbound. The weird thing is I didn't play it until 2010. A lot of it comes from the settings like Onett and Twoson which remind of places I've been to as a kid.

Super Mario Bros. 3 *
Mickey Mania
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
Mutant League Hockey
Metal Gear Solid *
Final Fantasy 8(not my favorite, but the first one I played. That opening cutscene...)
Super Mario 64 *
Mario Kart
Zelda: Ocarina of Time
007 Golden Eye
Half Life *
Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines

There's tons, that's not even scratching the service. I played tons of video games as a kid, and it was during some of the best years in gaming. I put *'s next to the ones that probably had the most impact on me. Although all of them did tbh

Mcdonaldland was probably the first game I ever played, (or the first that I remember anyway) and I loved it, as difficult as it was

Oddly enough, my first handheld game was a translated version of Pokemon Green. Must have been bootleg or something I guess.

And first real RPG was FFX. Oh, how amazing the story was.

Fucking Mcdonaldland haha best game ever, hard as fuck. That epic high five with the cheesy music, me and my brother to this day will know what to do when the other starts humming the high five tune.

Added to that my top five nostalgia drivers are;

Rodland

Parasol Stars

Lotus

Tomb Raider

There are too many to list but Boulder Dash and The Last Ninja for the C64 gives me — for the lack of a better word — a nostalgia boner to the point of a bloody and gory eruption. :D
Other games in the nostalgia line are The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Command & Conquer, Command & Conquer Red Alert, Wolfenstein 3D, Hexen, Duke Nukem 3D and Doom.

games I played as little kid and the ones I played in school when I didn't had computer yet, like:

first Prince of Persia. It was so frustrating, but magical.

Deluxe Ski Jump. I always felt so proud when I managed to beat my friends.

Divine Divinity. I was a bit older when I played this, but it is still one of my favourite games till now. It feels so different from other rpgs.

and many, many others like Mario and stuff but it would take too long to write about them all.
