As much as I appreciate the upgraded animation and the detailed backgrounds, that's not what I watched the previous two seasons for. Let's see where they take this in the next episode... |

I prefer the more serious Alternative versions than the main series, while the first two seasons of gag comedy was good, it always made me wonder if the series would be better if the girls had their toys from start to finish and those OVAs resulted in a better viewing experience for me, and it's more enjoyable to see a very competent Milky Holmes. |

| this is nothing like the Milky Holmes I loved T_T Did Alternative really do that much better? I guess I'll keep up with this one for now because the new Thieves seem interesting, but just...GIVE ME BACK MY FAILURE FOUR!! TT_TT At least resolve the story in that. There was so much more they could have done. |
| That's really indecent, one of the worst sequel I ever saw: no twenty, no arsene, milky holmes aren't main characters and they catch a criminal. Absolutely indecent. I hope this won't sell anything, it doesn't deserve it. |

I heard the second episode was marginally better, though. |
Timeline: The X axle is the time and the Y axle is how serious/comical it is. The order from top till bottom is: - anime series (s1,s2,ss), - The smart phone game - New series - Alternative series - psp game series As you can see on this graph the new series does not belong to the old series. |

| Phh. But the animation really was too good for such a show. Although they simplified the charadesignes. And I don't mind such a change actually. I'll watch it after all the eps come out. And you still can't call it the spin-off. The atmosphere is totally different but there are no plot non-fitments. We just don't know what happened between the end of S2 and the beginning of this one. Arsene disappeared. It's a pity but nothing wrong here. Only Kokoro presented from genius 4. Kokoro explained where are others. Milky Holmes became serious and thay are heroes now. But they really saved the Yokohama and they tried to get the studies serious at last at the end of S2. And so on. I could understand why people are disappointed but S2 failed in terms of sales. People just thought that one season of that plot was enough so this time studio tried smth different. |

| I wasn't aware that each ep is only 12 minutes long so that's probably why it felt quick to me. It feels very different to the previous seasons with the absence of returning characters, even the Milkies themselves if it wasn't for the last scene. I'm interested to see how this one compares. |

| Without surprise, i found this episode extremely boring, nothing funny, bad animation, 12 min-long episode... The producers don't have much hope for this anime :( Gonna watch episode 2 anyway, but i'll most likely drop it. Another great license completely destroyed :( :( :( |
| Yup, this really is more serious this time around, meh. It certainly felt weird, when you are used to the comedy aspect in the previous seasons. I am gonna give it a try though. |

| It's...certainly not what I was expecting, but, in any case it reminds me of how the first season started off seriously for the most of it. Season two apparently never happened...but I'm fine with that, I personally liked the first season and far less than didn't the second. I will miss the other gentleman thieves though, hopefully they'll return later this season. Or perhaps the phantom colors, will have a colorful cast, no joke intended. |

| In my whole life, I never have been this dissapointed in an anime ever. Who knows, maybe episode 2 will be better. But I still miss the old milky holmes crew. |

| This season is really confusing, and I really don't think I can consider it a 3rd season at all. If anything, I'd say it picked up where the OVAs left off. I mean, the 2nd season left off with Milky Holmes losing their toys yet again. If they were going to suggest something like this for the 3rd season, they should have named this accordingly like, AU, or something. |
