| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- First episode was really good. I enjoyed it thoroughly. So the first fight of the new season is Miyata vs Arnie Gregory which should be interesting. The animation is great as always and the OP was awesome. I'm expecting a lot from this new season. |

| Awesome first episode. OP song was great. I havent watched the first season, but I read the manga; so I assume that Manbu hasn't shown up yet, (which is why I am wondering why is he in the ED o_o). Pretty hilarious when Takurma grabbed Ippo's Megaton Punch. It'd be big enough to probably kill her lol. Any way can't wait to see Miyata's OPBF title match. |

| Well, it was alright. I expect it to get better in the next couple of episodes, when the action kicks in. The one scene with the river was nicely done. And... Taka v. Hawk psyche in the intro! |

| It was great, sad to only understand about 70% of the ep but hopefully subs will be out soon :P Really look forward to some of these fights that are coming up! Especialy I cant wait for Manabu to appear I really like him =) Anyway the music sounded amazing, the animation was great and everything felt like the start of yet another epic series. |

| Watched it RAW, I think I understood most of it. (Anime addicts should pick up some of the language, right?) It was awesome, will rewatch when subs are out. Shuffleblade, above me beat me too it, but yes, everything if much much better... well it has been 6 years, that we've all been waiting for new Ippo right? Start of a new Ippo! Too awesome! |
| Raw watched, such a nostalgic episode. It started almost as same as Champion Road... and now we have to wait 7 days.... asjhfldsfm Of course, it was an excellent episode, don't get me wrong. Loved it. |

| NOW I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK FUCK. Honestly, after Miyata's OBPF title match, I'm hoping Takamura vs. Hawk will come as quickly as possible. It's definitely my favorite fight I've read so far. |

Both are songs with good lyrics and have a nice ring to it. Blackkang said: its ok but it don't have that old feel to it you now what i mean the first season was the greatest but i don't know if this will follow its path If this is going on and on and on, which means, it will get the continueing length like series as Detective Conan, One Piece or Doreamon, it will definitely be better then the first season, and besides animation and quality tip off the old season. and don't forget the HD extra. :P |

| Ippo is back!~ Loved it. The high quality fight scene was to be expected, since it was taken from the movie, I think. But it's still awesome. Especially Takamura's jokes ^^ The OP is nice as well. |

| Great starter! - The flashback was short & sweet. - The voices are mostly the same. - The Ippo dick jokes are back. LOL - The art style has remained the same but with a more vibrant colour palette. - Already a major fight is about to begin. All in all... Ippo's back! ^_^ |

| I get that the its been over what 4, 5 years since the last episode of the first series ended, but man...no new ground was covered. Began the first 30-45 seconds rehashing the formula for the fights, and the flashing back/straight up copying scenes from the last series. Hopefully the rest of the show won't seem so recycled. |

| Yay. finally!! After I finished the first season. I was going to read the manga. But with over 800 chapters, I really didn't have the time. The anime is finally back. Standard Ippo build up epiosde for the climax that awaits in the next! |
