Write in coherent English first then ask questions. I still don't get what your original statement meant and it's relevance to the gif I posted in reaction to Black Lagoon.

ot
any thing pre 2005 since it was still madhouse fully in charge of production and hell since 2007 they are madhouse in name only or madhouse is just a name since its a wholly onwd subsidiary of a big telcom company the same one tthat took of Atlus in 2005 too

Hunter x Hunter and Death Note

Hunter x Hunter is 82 episodes long and still going and it's raping 25-episode long anime, the fights are the best there are too.

Death Note is just a masterpiece and that's known.

Out of the ones I've seen (I've enjoyed many of Madhouse's works) I would have to say Monster. Great characters (amazing villain), unique setting and an engrossing thriller story line.

Reading this thread has made me realise how much of a Madhouse fangirl I am. Nearly all of my top rated anime are from this studio. Their best production as far as I've seen is probably Death Note, but really, I ain't seen nothing yet when it comes to Madhouse's work.

Yes. This thread has not only been for me to see what the public thinks is madhouse's best production, but also to appreciate Madhouse for the excellent work they create. No fillers too, for the ones I have seen as well (thank god they have hxh or else fillers would probably run that show). Animation provided by them are excellent (for the year of release) and the music (for the ones I have seen) are just brilliantly done and very fitting with the anime- Hxh 2011 and deathnote for example.
This thread has also been made for me to see some more of Madhouse and maybe appreciate them more ! And I also learned that Madhouse had some part in certain animes that I didn't even imagine (rainbow for one).

A lot of their shows are ones I consider my favorites. I don't know if I could pick just one.

More or less in order, I'll go with:

Monster

Tatami Galaxy

Ha, I see what you did there. I take it back. It's not so much terrible as it is completely forgettable. Most people do seem to like it so I guess I'm in the minority on this one. I guess people need their gun-loli fix and can overlook the one-note characters to get it.

If this is seriously why you think people like the show, then I think you may want to rethink things.

So like, I'm not going to say it's my favorite or that it was their best production ever, but it's getting no love at all here and it wasn't a bad show.

I'm going with Monseer too, Aquarian Age, Beck, Black Lagoon, Gunslinger Girl, Highschool of the Dead, Rideback, and Steins Gate are also worthy candidates though as well as a number of films. They have done so many awesome works it's hard to choose.

The Tatami Galaxy, the show is absolutely brilliant.

Also, Satoshi Kon's body of work, but I'd say Millennium Actress is his best.
