Interesting duel, the eye wasn't explained that much though. I figured the card was something like that, or it could fuse as many as you want straight from your deck.

Why did Karen disappear if it was Jim who lost?

Wow Jim was so cool in this duel! I'll miss him :< Wonder who will be able to break through to Judai in the end.

Jim lost and O'brien ran away like a bitch.

I don't blame him, tho. Judai became quite frightening.

Our calm cool and collected duo were shattered. O'Brien showing fear is huge.

The lead up to the eye wasn't straightforward, but it makes sense considering there's a trend of things being predestined in ygo. The important take away for the story is that it let us see inside Juudai's heart. As a season of concepts and questioning everyone's role, I'm surprised that some things I've been thinking are coming true, mainly about our protagonist.

Juudai standing for nothing makes him susceptible to confrontation, and having no friends when he was small limits the way he understands how friendships work. They're clearly building something up for Sho, I'm excited to see what he'll tell him.

Even though Jim lost at least he figured out that Judai's LP had to drop to 0 in order for the Orichalcum Eye to work on him. Though of course everything in this series essentially comes down to beating an opponent in a duel, so it's not exactly surprising lol. I thought it was silly that Karen "died" too even though she wasn't part of the duel. O'Brien running away was kinda funny tbh.

In retrospect, if anyone in YGO starts acting strange, irrational, or out of the ordinary, the rest of the cast should immediately assume it's mind control of some sort. It would most likely save a lot of trouble.

Jim... that was a most honourable duel.
