| I'll give this episode some credit, it helped me realize what was "off" about Frontier. It's that the cast don't interact with each other. Sure, they talk with each other, but they don't talk to each other. Their dialogue tends to simplistic or exposition. Because of this, the cast's personalities come off as flat, especially Takuya. Takuya doesn't have any indiscernible personality and is easily the worst. Considering he's the leader, I think this is the reason the cast doesn't interact because that would mean giving Takuya an actual personality, lol. They shouldn't have made the set-up episode also Takuya's Spirit episode, he never got a chance to develop. On the positive note: I like how slug digimon live on the side of a mountain, forcing the humans to adapt to the side. |
