| Never expected Lanfang to use the lingerie defense. Also, does anyone know what made the announcer mispronounce Goku's name? Was it the characters or something? |

| Yeah, I guess it's about the Kanji reading, KitaTsuki. Otherwise - this episode wasn't that much interesting, except for the part where Jackie Chun turned out to be Muten Roshi |

| Muten Rosh....I mean Jackie Chun's observation on Namu's backstory made me think of something fairly interesting, at this point in time Toriyama still considered this a gag manga, I wonder when he made the switch to battle in his mind. |

| With Namu's intense background I can only assume he'll win, or more likely Goku will win and give him the cash he gets from winning. But that's to assume Goku will be able to beat Roshi, that isn't clear if it's possible(or I guess Kururin could take him down to after all his training...). Goku's fight with dinosaur man may be a gag as well, but the remaining fights will probably not be jokes. Still have to agree, the humor can be hit or miss, more often than not it hits but still, the saving grace was that the humor wasn't the main focus, it was the characters and the world building. These last two episodes have been built around jokes, and the jokes were a singular joke which took up around half the episode or more, so I can agree these have been weak for that reason. Definitely is a good thing that I can't confidently predict the outcome of this tournament however, which makes it better than a certain dark tournament in that sense. |

| Man master Roshi was dangerous. He did not even touch Yamcha! Hope Goku can defeat him. Krillian does not looks in the mood. So another disgusting fight. Bad woman. Naam should slap her well. | One problem with this tournament is that it's been a lot of comedy in the fights. The episode was cool, but repeating comedy in every fight doesn't work. |
| This has been one of my favorite episodes of original Dragon Ball so far! Yamcha didn't stand a chance against Master Roshi although I thought it would've been closer. I'm enjoying the slapstick comedy/fan-service but I think the fights in this tournament will get more serious going forward. I think Goku will beat his next two opponents and will most likely fight Master Roshi in the finals. |
| I was really hoping that final part where Yamcha realizes that Roshi is actually Chun would have been a gag, ending on something stupid as hell like "He must be... Roshi's Uncle" |

| Why is Roshi in the tournament 🙄🙄 It’s funny I guess but I would have liked to see how it would have gone out without his influence. Yamcha vs Krillin would’ve been interesting I’m glad the woman lost early on, she wouldn’t have been able to beat Goku at all because he’s stupid 😭 |

| Yamcha's moves are fast yet it is the nimble Jackie Chun who makes the fight short, winning without ever touching his opponent. As his lecherous side reveals itself between matches, his fellow finalists are certain he is the absent Master Roshi. Langfang almost pushes the stoic Namu to his limits with her sexy counterattack. In another instance of closing off a sense—this time, sight—Namu leaps from the edge of the ring and achieves his victory, one step closer to getting water for his village. |
