| If I'm correct, the rooftop scene with the girl is here. Which seems shitty. In the visual novel she appeared once you finished your first route, and she was actually IN the damn story (a little, anyway) up until the rooftop scene. From what you guys are saying, she pretty much makes her first appearance here and then the rooftop scene happens, which shows JC Staff can't do anything right. They show her just to use her to get him onto the team, then she'll never appear again. It's a minor thing, but it still bothers me. She should've been there earlier, would've made more sense and been better. |

In the common route ive only seen her in the beginning when Rin was recruiting with the headset. I did not know what was going on at the time but she asked how kengo was and what his favorite hobby was which kengo told rin to tell her he likes to read. The only thing i got from that was that they were both worried about each other really really worried. I really really really like her. ALOT. ALOT. alot. |
| Have to admit, they could of played the rooftop scene abit longer. It was rather anticlimactic and there was like no fear felt at all for me. Maybe I should just wait for subs so I know what is being said. The baseball part was really epic though and gotta be one of my favourite scenes from the season. Anybody want some sexy Kengo? |

I'll just correct you and say that the script is written by Shimada Michiru, who aren't a part of JC Staff and is given guidance by KEY when she's writing the script. Just to clear that up. 2. I remember her backstory about being on the archery club before her incident, but I don't really remember her being too prevalent in the common route. I do feel like they should up her presence a little bit, because in the VN I think they could at least emphasize Kengo having a friendship/relationship with Miyuki some point in the next season. Yeah the episode did say she lost it due to illness but in the visual novel wasnt it a archery accident? |

| I find it a bit funny that while Komari and Rin were on the rooftop holding hands, Riki was lying unconscious near the river. This episode was pretty good despite some quality scenes. Sprite Riki doesn't look very happy about being the leader during the preview. I wonder if they will change the OP once Kengo gets his groove on. lol wait 1 ep left. I'm more excited about the announcement than the last ep to be honest. unless they are putting kick the can into the next ep. |
| As opposed to popular opinion, I didn't really care for this episode. In all honesty, its hard to care for the life or story of a character who I just met. Plus J.C. animated Rin's ass during that baseball scene better then the scene where that girl was falling. |

| Expectations were met for this episode. Faithful adaptation was faithful. The foreshadowing was pretty strong this damn strong this episode. They managed to do the scenes well without KyoAni animation, but unless they introduced Miyuki as an earlier character and made up extra things to her story, it wouldn't feel dramatic. It's pretty much only a bit dramatic to the VN readers. It was't dramatic in the VN either, but it's integral to Refrain. They were pretty good at animating the detail with Kengo. Super Refrain spoiler: Mm overall it accomplished what it was supposed to. | So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| The anime keeps making me wanna replay the VN again goddamn it. I ALREADY REPLAYED REFRAIN Anyway, the whole Miyuki thing could have been executed better along with some other minor complaints. Despite that, I enjoyed it, mainly because Kengo FINALLY joined the team. I wanna see some jacket Kengo. Eagerly anticipating the announcement next episode |

| The episode wasn't that bad. There were some things I disliked, but everyone already pointed them out, which was basically the whole scene on the roof. I actually did like the end, and I liked the bits that foreshadowed what was going on. Kengo doesn't look half bad with his hair down either. Also, I found the archer girl to be the best looking girl in the entire anime. >< |
