I almost forgot about this show... somewhat refreshing to see it come back.

Anyways, it's nice to see the family finally reunite. Wonder what Bones has in store for us for the ending (24 is almost done being subbed).

EDIT: Didn't realized there was one unified topic for 23/24. I guess they watched the raws? Of course, MAL couldn't tell me that there was a 23/24 topic when I updated my list...

Raw is not out yet. They watched while it aired both eps. (not sure why both eps. were not up for DL, though).

Oh, really? That's nice.

Anyways, so another world without Truth and Renton's appearance?

I almost want to warn people to save themselves the heart break and not bother watching the end.

Still if you've watched the series this far you may as well see it through.

Its a bit late in the game for characters to be talking so criptically. And Naru is as bad as a character as ever.

At least Renton and Eureka meet up.

I think that's a given though in this situation but I didn't care that much since Renton finally met Eureka and Ao.

The only reason E7 AO has so many ppl following it, is only because we want to see more of RENTON + EUREKA. I mean, the only EPIC chapters are when Gekko-Go, Eureka or Renton appears.
This show is SHIT compared to the original Eureka Seven series.

you know episode 23 makes a really big contradiction by getting rid of truth. The only reason why Naru went bad and fought AO was because truth was there to guide her. So it makes no sense that although Truth was erased from the timeline Naru is still fighting against AO. Also since Truth was what protected her when Eureka disappear, shouldnt she be dead in this timeline?

The whole thing became a clusterfuck. It isn't even worth bothering.

Haha that ending was totally cool! Renton sure changed and got quite cool himself and well with the next being the last episode I do wonder how they'll end this series but will it be a good ending or an open ending? Well without further ado let's see what's next!

I wish we saw Renton earlier. He looks sick and love that they gave him Holland's voice actor!

The Okinawan trio tell off Truth's human lackey, Nakamura, for his wrongdoings.

With the coral carriers critically ill, more factions ally with the Secrets against Truth like Harlequin. Only his blind follower Naru is on his side while he murmurs the history of the "true" world. She sees Truth as a Secret counterpart to her. The so-called "sea-colossus" takes shape. But as Ao knows, Truth wants to get rid of both scubs and secrets (getting rid of one will induce the other erasure as Secrets are the universe's response to foreign objects). But his warning to Naru is too late (looks like the typeZERO's archetype got injured in that blast).

Harlequin secure the Canon so Ao can fire the Quartz Gun on Truth. I can say the fight animation is one thing Bones does not disappoint on.

If Truth was erased from the timeline, why was Naru fighting him then? There was no sea colossus (Truth) to meet her as a child? Was her realizing that she could live symbiotically with the coral infecting her inevitable even without pressure or enticement by Truth?

I was expecting that same shot from the gun to bring Renton through. Not yet I guess.

Renton arrives later in the Spec-V3. The Secrets were anticipating Renton's arrival, too. Damn, the Spec-V3 is so cool with those funnel-like weapons. But when the Quartz Renton extracts are attracted to the Gun, he encounters the Mark I (likely believing it is being piloted by Eureka). Speak of the devil, the still-intangible Eureka appears.

Father and son finally meet...

Hah... Finally, the thing I want to watch the most are their reunion.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
