Most of the money I make goes into savings to move out eventually. I've been drained for the past few weeks because of the holidays though.

However, the money I do spend usually goes towards supporting my various hobbies. I haven't bought anime in months and usually watch one series at a time. Currently I'm watching season 2 of Dragon Ball.

I've been avoiding buying physical video games as well since they can be pricey. Instead, I've spent the last several weeks paying five bucks a pop for each of the old Sonic games on Genesis. I'm up to Sonic 3, after that I'm getting Sonic CD and then I'm going to play several of the arcade gems I've ignored like Super Meat Boy and Bastion.

I've also been enjoying hookah for the past few months and I've grown to love it as a hobby. So I buy flavored tobacco for it at least once a week.

Oh, I've also recently picked up some light reading. I'm reading the Scott Pilgrim series finally and I'm not ashamed to admit I've been getting the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.

Other than that, I have to drop like $40 in gas money plus whatever I spend on food for when I visit my girlfriend who lives in another city.

What do you guys spend most of your money on? Do you save most of it, or do you have an all-consuming hobby that you drop hundreds of dollars on?

Luxurious meals including king crabs, lobsters, scallops, etc..

Some do go into buying video games as that Japanese titles are pretty expensive.. For example, Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment Collector's Edition costs 9980 yen..

Tuition
As a child, I was told that society is a melting pot of talents; knowledge and experience combined to form important alloys that will contribute to mankind. When I got to highschool, however, I thought that it's more like a river in which the water represents our peers while we ourselves are the stones in the river. Constant erosion by mindless majority sheeping has made us lose our unique edge. After I hit the age of 18, I realized that I've been wrong all along. Society is no melting pot. Society is no river. Society is a person, a very skilled rapist, and he has fucked us all.

Money was created to be spent, but also we must save it to spent it well.
But one thing is sure, when you die Money won't go with you, So you must share it with your loved ones and spent some while you're here.

Any leftovers from bills and food usually go to either plastic crack in the form of Warhammer and impulse buys on Steam that I never have time to play.
Luckily alcohol spending has decreased like hell after I started to brew my own wine. I'd grow my own food too, but that would be too much work for too little economical gain.

Nah, I'm not that big of a spender; practical things like food, clothes, material & gear for hobbies. The leftover's all for travel, games, music and extra pairs of socks.

So you've grown out of video games and movies, but most of your money goes toward anime.

Wow.

Well, I bought a car recently, so a lot of it went to that too. But it's all paid off already, so it's not a regular expense.

You regularly buy sneakers? Are you some sort of "baller"?

You definitely don't need a dishwasher, unless you're a lazy bastard (which is perfectly acceptable).

Half of my money goes to bills every month, right off the top.
Then...
$100 to Books.
$50 to Blu Rays.
$200 for groceries.
~$100 into a savings account.
The rest, I either save or spend as I see fit.

All the other money I keep usually goes towards games, or anything really.
