| To everybody looking forward to seeing Lucy naked: She looks extremely fat in that scene (and it's from behind so you barely see anything you haven't already seen in the show). To be honest, I was quite disappointed. It got better after a while but the beginning was the greatest diappointment I ever had with anime. The more so since I had expected this to be a great movie to a great series. I went expecting to see awesome scenes, great fights and an epic story. Well, I will admit, the fights were good but apart from that, the art was so crappy it was hard to believe this was Fairy Tail. Facial expressions were horrible to non-existent (quite often, there were no faces at all, just a bunch of small coloured figures that vaguely resembled important FT-characters). And especially in the beginning, they were drawn so horribly it looked like a ripoff. Gray was worst. With the others, at least when they spoke the makers apparently actually put some effort into drawing them. Gray even looked bad when he was alone on the screen. During fights the art got better and after a while even the non-fight-parts became watchable, but at first it was just disappointing. The story was better but narration sucked in the beginning, too. Especially while Eclair was at Fairy Tail and when they decided to escort her to the whatever-it-was-called-forest, development and dialogue were (in my opinion) extremely unnatural and weird. Concerning the final fight: I kept thinking of Naruto Blood Prison movie. The entire movie had a very Naruto-ish atmosphere about it, but that felt like actual copying. While fighting an exaggeratedly huge and powerful demon-boss, the entire village (guild) appears just for the sake of having everybody in the last scene. Everyone gets to perform an attack which looks great but ultimately has no effect exept pleasing the fans of the respective character and at last the one person who did all the real damage deals the final blow, everyone else just being the sideshow responsible for some special effects. Momo's voice was hurting my ears, but I guess that's not exactly due to bad quality of the movie but more due to a twisted perception of what kind of voice is cute by the people responsible for the sound. What I really liked was the Assassin. His fighting style was great and his voice just perfect. Also the scene when Eclair was burned was great. As was the fact that she actually died in the end, something that does not happen too often in this kind of anime. Until that moment I expected her to be saved by some kind of unexplainable miracle. So in the end it was an OK movie but far, far, far below my expectations. |

Then again, if you did i wouldn't be able to reply. Finally someone who points out "some" of the negatives in the movie. I've been only hearing good things about the movie till now, which is of course nice, but it's only normal for a movie to have flaws as well. |

| how can this be "R - 17+ (violence & profanity)"?! this movie isn't violent, it only has a little blood, but nothing special: looks like a naruto and bleach movie. For example, Fullmetal Alchemist Movie 1: conqueror shamballa is "PG-13 - Teens 13 or older" and it has much more blood. That rating of Fairy Tail movie, doesn't make sense |

| I like Fairy Tail but the movie was very bad IMO Sure there were good fanservice of naked Lucy etc. and some funny moments. However the fight scenes were very weak and hardly had anything exciting about it. He main characters didn't even show a variety of their skills. Also the story is pretty decent, like a normal naruto, bleach movie. 5/10 |
| Was an average movie, the fights weren't cool, the story was very average, seen it a thousand times with other anime movies. Loved Erza's face when she was staring at the wedding dress, liked the setting too. Gray's ice shield looks better in the movie. Didn't really see what happened with the king though, would have liked to see him get beaten up. | I don't agree with majority. I think story was good and art was way better than tv series. Character faces were better (not oval eyes). I really like original style of magic (without dumb circles) cuz it is the real design of manga. It really gives the feeling of Hiro Mashima's artwork. Action scenes was not exaggerated, somehow realistic. I really enjoyed watching movie. |

| The art wasn't too bad but the movie itself was pretty average... Wasn't really expecting anything so it wasn't a disappointment though. I guess it was good enough, atleast other characters like Gray weren't just background chars there. |

| Oh my god, that was such a good movie. Gray finally gets arrested for exhibitionism, Erza wants to get married, the fights were great, but the ending was very sad. Manly tears were shed........and proudly at that. |

| I found the movie itself not bad, But I hate how they put a biggass monster in it. C'mon cut that crap we've seen it too much in naruto and bleach movies and it makes no sense really New charachter's weren't entertaining much either, Tho I must admit I found Dist and the Assassin pretty fun charachter's. As far miss immortal ( Forgot her name already ) I didn't personally care much for her she was boring Also I was so happy when the damn chicken burned away, It was annoying as hell FREE NUGGETS FOR EVERYONE! |

| Alright, just watched it a few minutes ago . . . like legit, I just finished it. And bawling my eyes out, I also just finished that too. Let me just say now I was NOT expecting Eclair to die . . . I mean, her being immortal, after I found out about why they wanted the phoenix, it wasn't that hard to piece together that she was immortal. However, I thought they were going to say, "when the phoenix is destroyed, you will lose your immortality" and she was just going to live out the rest of her life normally . . . Now that I got that out of the way, I'll say it now, I have mixed feelings about some of the other reviews. I mean, I've read people complaining about the artwork, and while I'll agree that there were some scenes that had some REALLY iffy artwork, as in, Gray was fighting and I was sitting there going, "he looks really strange right now". But I will say overall the artwork didn't seem too bad, although the scenes where they cried also seemed a little strange, and the animation seemed off. Well, maybe it was just me that thought that . . . |

| OMG that was an awesome movie...Natsu is so into Lucy I thought that was great that Laxus and everyone then joined the fight...only wish Gildarts would have been in the movie. T_T LOL Gray's stripping is contagious--- poor Lucy must be embarrassed (however both Natsu and Gray liked it) That was funny that Erza was only able to fight with the wedding dress because she really wants to get married (wonder to who? jeez Jellal is so stupid for making that dumb lie..even though Erza knows its fake) I felt bad for poor Eclair and Momoe (or what ever is name was) and Lucy who made a really close connection to her. It was ridiculous and I learned no new message amongst the main 'friendship' and 'compadre' catch phrases Fairy Tail throws out. It was really a waste of time. Plot line could possibly be good, end was somewhat unexpected, but other than that, I give this a 2.8/10 |

| I am not saying i did not enjoy this movie however something just felt off and i cant quite put my finger on it i think part of it was maybe some of the animation especially at the beginning when first introduced to Natsu Lucy Erza Gray Carla luckily it improves throughout the movie also for some reason i just didn't feel the excitement i get when watching the Fairy Tail series however it was still very enjoyable and very touching and as always full of those fun little comedy moments such as the naked Lucy scene the look on Natsu and Grays face was great lol and the moment Erza saw that wedding dress hehe i think i may have had my expectations of this movie set a little to high before i began watching hence my slight feeling of disappointment but overall it was a good movie and fun to watch ummm thats pretty much my opinion given good day !!! lol :D |

| Well, I for one enjoyed it muchly. :) The NaLu moments (♥), the montage when they first get to the city and Gray progressively loses parts of his outfit (XD), everyone getting their moment to shine... I like the Thunder God Tribe so getting to see them in action was nice. :3 I suppose the relationship between Lucy and Eclaire was a bit rushed, but they also gave them a really high emotion thing in common. Something like that is something you can really bond over, you know? I never place a great deal of importance on animation and sound, so I really couldn't say whether it was good or not. *shrug* It seemed mostly okay to me, and anything that was a little off wasn't off enough for me to note it. I expect there will be a higher quality version out sometime, and I will watch it then as well. :3 |

| It was ok overall. The story was all right, seemed a bit rushed for the overly done emotional scene at the end, but then Lucy is always emotional xD. The animation I didn't like so much but it was fine overall. The ending was nice though. I liked the little off bits though, like Elza uses a screen to set her equips? xD I also just realized, how cvome all dragon slayers except Wendy get travel sick? I guess she has healing abilities so she is immune. |

| Prety good for first movie. Open with a destruction a la Fairy Tail. I'm enjoying every Gruvia moment presented. But it's a shame that I don't see much of Levy in this movie. Erza just married with Jellal already and this is the first time we see her archer armor. |
