| Pretty good fight scene. One thing I'm not crazy about in regards to the show is how one dimensional the characters are and Mifune wasn't any different in that regard. |

| Yahoo! It's time for Black Star to shine! His fight against Mifune was really awesome but even more so thanks to that OST and the fact that Mifune and Black Star are both using their specific abilities. THough another reason that makes this fight so goddamn great is that Black Star's motivation to come charging up to this place is that he wants to avenge Maka, his friend. Black Star certainly doesn't show it but he does care deeply about his friends, I like him more than ever now! Mifune's love for children really messes up his life... Azusa's abilities are nothing short of incredible. And her weapon form allows a target to be shot from 10 KM with a 1mm error, wtf that's basically aimbot! |

| I don't get why Black Star seems so edgy about what happen to Maka, if it was Soul I can understand that. And it was just paralyzed no big deal. Compared to what happen to Soul this was pale in comparison. Or does he has an affection for her ? Oh no, Stein don't go that direction. But it would be fun if that happened. This must be one of the best fight for this series, the BGM was amazing during their fight. Seems Mifune someday gonna join the gang. And I'm feeling a Tsubaki x Mifune here. And he bears a resemblance to Kite from HXH. |

| Black Star taking revenge on behalf of Maka was both surprising yet expected of his character. His uninvited appearance at the lab was very helpful towards the completion of Sid's stealth mission that's for certain. The soundtrack for Black Star and Mifune's rematch did a lot to enhance the fight. Tsubaki's attempt on getting Mifune on board with the DWMA's a very good one too. If they can take a former berserk murderer and witch accomplice who still has the Black Blood and the demon weapon with him as a student, I'm sure that they can take in a hitman who has devoted his life to protecting an innocent child witch as another exception. |

| Cute beginning but Black Star going for revenge felt a little weird but the song playing during the fight takes the prize as the actual weird moment of the episode, still the fight was enjoyable. |
| Mifune was not a character I expected to see more of but this was a pleasant surprise |
