I just saw all three episodes. I don't quite see what's the big deal. I mean, I've seen far worse things, things many wouldn't like, and things I myself didn't like, so maybe I've just been desensitized by it. Going by the first episode, there is no rape, nothing extreme. Just a man and a shota that looks like a girl. The worst thing about it is that Mokkun might not actually love Pico, and you get plenty of that (the lack of love in a relationship) in even non hentai media, not to mention real life. At least Pico is treated well. And going by the second episode, Pico is fine, he hasn't been scarred or turned into some kind of psychopath. And then he meets Chico, another ordinary boy around his age. They have at that point a normal friendship. And at one point Pico and Chico see Chico's sister masturbating with a banana. Neither one of them is traumatized, especially not Pico, so Pico decides to teach Chico what is going on. Once again, Chico is not scarred for life, nor turned evil by the next episode. Instead, Pico and Chico's friendship becomes even stronger. I say friendship, because I don't think either one really understands love, nor did they say they were lovers. The sex was just something fun that they did. And episode three comes around, and they meet yet another boy, Coco. Coco looks even more feminine than Pico and Coco even cross-dresses, which makes him a very convincing trap. Here, Pico starts to learn a bit more about what it's like to be in love. And when Coco sees that his presence may be hurting Pico and Chico's friendship, he disappears, but they find him, which culminates in a threesome. At the end, not one of the three were traumatized, Even adding in the romance angle for the last episode didn't change any of the characters for the worse. And more shotas didn't exactly make it more extreme.
Really, 1. If the idea of a man and a shota disturbs you, then the first episode may be too much, the other two only have shotas. If the idea of a shota in general disturbs you, then this series may be too much. If you like traps, go for it. Pico looks quite feminine. And Coco is practically a loli. If yaoi turns you off, you know boy on boy, you may still like it. After All, I'm not into yaoi usually, but I like traps. You're guaranteed to at least one trap per sex scene. That was good enough for me. And Chico doesn't look too masculine either, though he doesn't look as much like a girl as the other two.
TBH I found Boku no pico and it's sequels to be tame. I heard a lot of people going like "scarred for life" and I watched it, now I think they may have been a bunch of pansies. If an anime can scar you for life, you are too young for it, or the world is messed up.At the same time, I felt it lacked a little too much in the story development. This is common in hentai anime. It's why I like hentai Manga better. |
