| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nice to get more backstory on Sai (I have a pretty bad memory so this was a good refresher). Absolutely sucks that he got kicked out because that guy was cheating ... even HE knew he couldn't beat Sai without cheating huh?! Then he met Torajiro but he died because of an illness ... then he came to Hikaru! :D While I liked seeing his important matches (with Akira) through his eyes ... didn't really think this was the best place to have a recap episode lol D: Although ... at the end there ... I'm SO GLAD he didn't ... but ... I kept getting worried ... I know it's only a matter of time ... T_T Anyways, next episode we finally meet Kurata! :D Yay! I loved this guy in the manga haha XD The faker who sells Torajiro's stuff ... hrm ... Sai gets to crush someone again, it seems! :D |

| Well, judging by that end I guess it's settled... the only way to Sai achive the God's Play or however you call that in english is with Hikaru doing it with him as well. Or maybe it's only a fool impression I got. |

| episode 50 is a good place for recap, it summarise well sai's games. and there's good reason sai was sent to hikaru who wants to play by himself and not some puppet for him, though i can understand it without watching the end of the series, it's a spoiler. |
