Ren and Yoh have another fight in this episode, however Yoh gives a better fight this time. This episode was alright. |

| You's backstory with his grandfather was pretty nice and fun, and that 2nd fight was great, You was actually better this time. The girl at the end seems to be really interesting for the story, I can't wait to see her. |

| is the anime censored, or it is logical in this anime world that only look can make the enemy fly the other way? lol also, if the anime wants me to take it more seriously, it's gotta stop giving yoh lame weapons and make him win against a real swords lol. morty's commentary still bothering me. he thinks yoh could be the shaman king? who is he that he can think who's worth or not lol. hope the story that girl would bring gonna be interesting, she seems interesting character. |
| i guess there's a lot to do with descendants and one's family line here. this new character makes her appearance. just making an observation here, but i'd assume that they're a pretty big shot and most likely heavily capable. she carries around a dogu as a charm (clay figures from the jomon period associated with shamanistic rituals). thus, she must have a lengthy bloodline similar to ren and yoh. the only one who doesn't then is that useless twerp. manta becoming the mandated narrator is never going to grow on me... amidamaru's loyalty was awesome to see. |
