i think they ran through this portion of the exam process. i havent read the manga but the exam/selection process/second exam went by pretty fast, its kinda unrealistic.

but other than this strange pacing im loving every minute of this show definitely the best show thus far for this season.

I knew the screw would work to his advantage, but had no idea it was deliberate.

That was the first thing I thought, too! I figured they'd do one step of the process each week. It seems to be moving quickly for a series that (supposedly) is going to be 48+ episodes.

The first episode adapted the first chapter of the manga (which was longer than usual). This episode adapted the second and third. Compared to the source material, it's not a fast pace.

this is developing to be quite moving...wasn't expecting much from this, but it has turned out to be very cinematic, like a really great film - pulls at your heartstrings in all the right places, and to top it all off, funny as well!

lol @ Mutta dropping his phone in the toilette, happened with me some time ago.

I'm really liking how they're showing the comparison between human's hopes and dreams when he was a child and as a grown-up, I mean this man really symbolizes alot of men around the world who'd give up on their dreams as they grow up, and swallowing their pride when for example their little brother become someone they wanted to be. but well for this man's case he has some people who know his dreams and make him remember it, and re-awaken the pride he's lost all because of laziness or insecurity.

This show is promising, one of the best for this season, looking forward for the next episodes.

Haha! OMG! Lol! When he dropped his phone... priceless laugh! xD

So... you might find love there too, Mutta. Maybe you'll rival with... Kenji was his name, right?

Another great episode. The humor is awesome and cute.

I really like this anime. It is unfortunate that in this episode was not enough Hibito, but Mutt is so very funny. I really like this anime. It is a pity that the selection process goes so quickly. I hope this anime will have a lot of episodes and the manga will be translate.

That's interesting to hear, because it felt like a fast pace in a vacuum (and I'm apparently not the only one who thought that). But if there's enough content in the manga to go around, I'll be happy.

I also thought it felt a bit fast, but I don't think it was intended that the main focus of the story was the JAXA examination.

I wish they would show more of the examination. TBH I though that would be one of the main focuses but i guess I was wrong. That slightly let me down since that once main reason why I started watching this. Fortunatelly, it seems like next episode will go more in depth of the exams. This ep was good and the jokes made me laugh, it was nothing extraordinary though. Hopefully, next episode seems to be much better.

aaaa... too much of experiences with doing things like this screw :P
but it was nice detail here

nice episode - this series is getting very nice (it's bit early to say but second favorite behind Saki)
but it's good
some more detail on characters plus introduction of new ones (also interesting)
while I was watching it I had this feeling that it's Chihayafuru with astronauts ;)

Another good episode. All the exams, interviews and this stuff needed for him to pass to become an astronaut is kind of exciting to watch, while kept in a rather slow slife of life style.
I hope Mutto scores Serika, to whom i look forward to next week due to Sawashiro Miyuki. <3

Haha, nice trick. How horrible would that be, to have your entire future ruined by a single loose screw? However, it's probably what will push Mutta closer to becoming an astronaut. ^^=

I loved him bending over the toilet after he flushed his phone, screaming, "Mom~!" Hillarious.

I was wondering what he'd do about his relation to his little brother. I thought perhaps he'd brush it off, say that he had to get the job on his own, and yet, "Time to ride my brother's coattails." Great job, Mutta. Take whatever advantage you can muster up.
God knows you'll need it. >.>;

Heh knew that screw was done on purpose.

A prestigious place like Nasa isn't going to have chairs with screws loose just left there. It's actually a pretty good interview technique. Good way to see how an applicant will react.

Loving it so far!
