| According to Dengeki Online, new projects of Hakuouki were announced at a live event. 1. An additional volume of Hakuouki Sekkaroku will be released in June. The title is "Kazama Chikage" and the episode of the infiltrate mission into Shimabara will be told from Kazama's point of view. 2. The third season "Hakuouki Reimeiroku" was announced to be aired this summer. The singers of the OP and ED themes will be Kurosaki Maon and mao (the ED themes of "Hakuouki" and "Hakuouki Hekketsuroku"), respectively. 3. A two-part movie of Hakuouki will be premiered in 2013. Its so funny/awesome because I'm just about done with the game and just about done with the Sekkaroku anime and was getting really sad that it was gonna be over (unless they decided to localize Reimeiroku, but that would be waaay down the line). |

The anime adaptation is spectacular. They did a fantastic job putting in the material they fit in from many of the different options and things you would have missed on one playthrough in the game. All the people in this thread just have garbage taste since this is one of the best otome game adaptations out there; it actually requires some thinking while you watch it and the characters are freaking fantastic. |

| It's too bad that there are so many people who are unhappy about this news, but I'm definitely super excited! Even though Studio DEEN didn't do the best job with the first two seasons + OVAs for Hakuouki, hopefully they'll do a better job this time around adapting the source material. I'm looking forward to seeing Ryunosuke animated and I can't wait to find out what the movie will be about. :) It's kind of a shame that Aika Yoshioka isn't doing the OP for Reimeiroku, though! |
