So everyone forgot their memories of Michiru except for people like Yuuta and that guy who were in charge of loans....that's the decision she picked.
But towards the end, it feels like the same things are going to happen again, since Chika and Shito died.

Even though, there was a like a year where no chapters came out, I'll still give it a eight. Ending was sad.

So, we have a finale. Seemed bittersweet at first, but in the end it's a sort of happy ending. Is it like I would have done it? Maybe not. Still, Zombie Loan is one of the best manga I've read so far. I'll always love it and never forget it. Thank you Peach Pit for creating it.

I feel like the ending was kind of rushed and somewhat cheesy with the whole 'oh, it's repeating all over again.'

I think I need to re-read this manga. I found the last few chapters confusing.

I wanted Michiru to choose a lover too. (I was reading in the hopes that she'd pick a boy some day) ;..; I hate how it's ambiguous but then this isn't shoujo..

Agree with Aina-Chan. I also thing that the ending was rushed. Here we go, gears collapsing, reversing etc., Michiru almost dead, doesn't know that they even fighting in front of her (?) and then - BAM! Quick chat and we are back to "normal". Nothing was reasonably explained. I personally don't understand what exactly happened to Michiru herself.

Although I like "repeating all over again" scheme the last chapter should be longer for about 3-4 pages, after the incident (I want to know if they DID remeber her :)).

I didn't particularly like the ending. I mean everyone (the zombies mostly) forget everything that has happened so far. It was a sad thought when Michiru was talking about how perhaps they would remember her right before they die just for a brief moment. I can't help but feel disappointed because it is as if everything I have read in these 13 volumes became pointless. However, the pros would be that Koyomi is back. Yay!! And I like how Michiru seems to be enjoying life now. It is also cute how Chitose lended his body to her. I am confused as to why Michiru didn't start forming relationships back with Chika, Koyomi, and all them. I mean at least Z-Loan is back on so that means their fates are intertwined again.

I think in the end, they remembered her because they died (they regain their lost memories)... What i don't understand is that why z-loan would reopen since there won't be any more illegal zombies as the other guy in in jail already...
Damn.. i though maybe it could end with like all of them experiencing near-death experience and remembering everything but was revived maybe because of something like the threads she created prevented them from dying before that day or something-.-

Idk why but the final chapter felt dull. The overall story had a nice premise though. And was there really much romance development overall?..

Never thought Michiru was an interesting character either. 6/10. Series is just fine for me, nothing really special.

Good day, I am Joe Kimbell, getting a loan can be so challenging and stressful online, after so many months of trying to get a loan on the internet was fortil, so i became desperate in getting a loan from a legit lender online then i saw a comment from a friend called William Ken and he talked about this legit loan company where he got his loan fast and easy without any stress so he introduced me to a man called Mr Thomas Fandez who controls a firm called BRIDGING LOAN, So i applied for a loan sum of ($89,000.00USD) with low interest rate of 2%, so the loan was approved and deposited into my bank account that was how i was able to get my loan. everyone of you who is interested in getting a loan fast and easy to kindly contact them via email: { bridgingsloan@financier.com} to get any kind of loan you need today, they are ligit and good firm to take a loan, good luck.

In my opinion, I loved this series as a whole. The fun quirky characters, mixed in with the horror and battle scenes, really made this series an enjoyable read for me.

However...

The ending in my opinion was bullsh*t and they had so much more potential to go on with more story plot with this series. I wanted to see Michiru use her new found abilities in zombie battles, and I wanted to see more character development overall too. There were multiple hints dropped to how character relationships were yet they were small and not really conveyed satisfactory enough for when they ended this manga. In a way, it really makes the ending feel empty, it being one of those open to interpretation endings. Don't get me wrong, an open to interpretation ending can be great if you can pull it off, but this series didn't pull it off very well as questions that needed to be answered for this series to seem fulfilling enough to pull off such an ending, just weren't answered.

I hope that Peach pit decide to make a season two to this manga at some point. A story of how life continues for them would be really great. It would also add to character development and answer many questions I had regarding this series (hopefully)

Plus, I'm going to add my fan girl quote here, I really wanted more ChikaXMichiru scenes, or a bit more establishment on how Chika felt towards Michiru, because there was something there, but I believe due to Peach Pit not wanting to trample over the fans of Shito, they just chickened out last second, which had me writhing in agony. They even had the coldness return between them when time reset, it was like a kick to the face. Though Chika and Shito dying again in the end caught me off guard, I was like
'Does this mean they are dead for good, or are they going to be saved?'
As stated before it's an open to interpretation ending, so though we would all like to assume that it means they both become zombies again, what if the gate keeper is too late or something, he only spoke about starting zombie loan, after they died, not during their death, so it had me sort of anxious.

Anyway, essay complete. Overall, this manga is worth a read. Just don't get any sort of high expectation for romance like me, otherwise you will crash and burn. I do demand a season two peach pit, even though you may never read this comment. My desperate fan vibes will chase you until you make one.

From what I understand, Hakka's masterplan was creating singularity, not illegal zombies. So apart from infectious "illegal" zombies with full conscious, I'm guessing a few odd dead-brain zombies pop up occasionally. After all, the school nurse was the first who reported having an illegal contract and others were already hunting zombies before then. But then again, I might be totally off on this and Bekkou is just planning on giving 'Life Loans' purely out of greed and to get the remaining owed amount from their debts.

Also, in the last chapter, Chitose mentioned how everyone gains back their memory when at death's door. So by the time Bekkou revives them, everybody should be caught up and at the same page, right?

There is just one thing though.... what about that poor wolf boy?
As lost as Alice, as mad as the Hatter.

Really liked it, enjoyable read overall save a few slight annoyances. I personally wanted to see more of Michiru x Yomi since they MUTUALLY liked each other...but alas: it is left in the air. The series ends slightly awkwardly and rushed, but I still enjoyed it.

Everybody forgets her but there is still a condition to retrieve their memories, their own deaths before turning into zombies. This time though, the world was created so that zombies basically never existed throughout history so Shito never went through 150 yr old nonsense and all those boy children were 'possibly' never turned into Yomi, right? I understood everything, including how the world will 'repeat' certain actions to allow their fated meeting but THIS time Shito also died, when before he was already a zombie and there aren't any intelligent illegal zombies due to aarc's imprisonment.

Basically, everything went into a world where zombies never existed but the main cast all got to achieve their dream lives as regular humans, including Shito who became 17, but...the ONLY oddity was the disappearances of Elizabeth child boy forgot his name the long-haired A-loan lucky boy and Yomi, male spirit formed from the murdered male children sealed in the box. Did those children NEVER get trapped now and stolen from their parents since now the existence of Zombies didn't create odd singularities throughout history, or did the children who 'sleep' inside Michiru remain inside of her even though Yomi vanished? It was already made clear that they are a separate existence from Yomi himself but are they waiting for her to be like, pregnant so they could be reborn or something, or are they going to eventually move on when she dies and crosses over? Those children are the only existences i'm unsure of, are they still inside her even WHILE they grow up under their own physical parents like double lives or will their existence remain with Michiru until she provides vessels for them(birth)?

Also with Yomi gone...does Chika have a shot now? They can't hunt Zombies much anymore but i'm sure they will still find a FEW since Michiru IS a singularity after all, plus they could all simply get regular jobs like undertaker did to pay the debt off, they aren't LIMITED to hunting it was just the fastest way to make money via bounties. Some unanswered questions, I would LOVE to see a short sequel made similar to ghost hunt's manga simply to tie up a few loose ends they didn't mention. I rate this Manga an honest 7/10 Maybe even an 8/10 if they'd only clear up the seemingly-rushed ending somehow or someway.

I just finished reading the manga for zombie loan...and I think the ending is nice because even though chika and shito died at least they will remember michiru again and there is also a high chance they will go to zombie loan again. It's also sad because the people who were zombies before forgot the memories they had with Michiru altogether while Michiru had to bear those memories....I really hope they make a sequel and I also hope that if there's a second sequel I can see more moments of ChikaXMichiru because even though it isn't clearly shown it is kinda obvious that Chika likes Michiru...

It's cool to see discussions about manga, even if they're from a few years ago. The plot point you mentioned about Michiru's memories being forgotten by most characters, except for a select few, adds an intriguing dynamic to the story. It must have been interesting to see how that decision affected the relationships and overall narrative. It's always a mix of emotions when beloved characters meet unfortunate fates, like Chika and Shito's deaths. It can be heartbreaking to witness, but it also adds depth and intensity to the storyline.By the way, if you ever need assistance with mortgages or financial matters, consider consulting a Mortgage Broker in Goole.
