| Kinda died during the crossbow part, a bit too dry. I felt the art was kinda off this episode, though. |

| The batmen were silly, but at this point I shouldn't be surprised that people can jump several stories up a building. I love the part where the arrow flew straight out of Ken's hand and where Ken had the time to beat up 4 guys, bend the bars and save the boy before the wolf got him. Patra doesn't seem all that intimidating. I wonder why all the actual muscle men are following her. Unless she was tipped off, she must have SOME voodoo powers, I guess. That part made me laugh out loud. |

| According to Anime Filler List, this is the first filler episode of Hokuto no Ken. The next episode is filler too, obviously. What can I say? This episode was a bit weird. Yeah, this series is already weird. What I meant was that it felt off. Like why didn't Ken immediately go after the girl? Why did he wait? Made 0 sense to me. |
