| Oh wow. This news made my year. My 3 years ahead. xD I was unhappy cause I thought it was going to be just one movie, but now I see that Kyubey fulfilled my wish. NGE movie 3 is scheduled for 2012... If the first one comes out in 2012 it will be interesting, very interesting... to see... the clash... between the titans... lol Anyway, it was only natural that shaft will make more - it's one of the most successful series in recent years, outselling other legendary anime 2x - 3x times. Madoka with movie budget will definitely be an eye candy and I hope not only. :O |

Then again, if Anno hadn't started Rebuild, he and Gainax would just be sitting on their laurels and the merchandising would be even more milky than the movies are. My brain hurts. | lol what? Why so many people is against recap movie? I'm actually more interested in first two recap movie, than original sequel part. I was just sick of people calling that Madoka is only worth for 'SHOCK VALUE'. In TV series, staffs have to be restricted by need for cliff-hangers and other directional hindrances. In movie, all those disadvantages are removed. Unless it is something like fuckin GURREN LAGANN RECAP, where just every single fuckin scene was just repeated, it is ridiculous to be disappointed about those two film if you are truly fan of this franchise, YES, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica is already franchise. http://wiki.puella-magi.net/NewType_2011-12 Just read this article. They are not just in for movie trilogy for milking. Magia Quartet - Shaft, Urobuchi, Ume-thenthe and Iwakami P - all 4 people are genuinely interested/attached to this project. Before mindlessly calling 'lol for cash', think about staffs behind it more. Seriously, MadoMagi was a project that was planned THREE YEARS AGO. That definitely means they were definitely planning something that comes after the finishing of the series long time before already. |

| This whole "more this, more that" way of thinking is so ridiculous. Quality over quantity. And no, I'm not saying these movies will be automatically bullshit, nor am I saying that people can't be happy about it. But mere quantity means nothing. After all, it doesn't matter if the original tv series was successful, there is always the possibility that something may go wrong this time. |
