| I had to think about this for a bit. Even anime series that could be considered "guilty pleasures" usually have some real merit. Perhaps some that appeal to demographics very different from my own, but that I enjoy anyway, would count. "Rosario+Vampire," despite its excessive and ridiculous fan service, is a fun series that never fails to leave a smile on my face. "Kanokon" is similar, and perhaps a little more ridiculous. "Tokyo Mew Mew" is a horribly cute, girly anime that probably only pre-teen girls should watch, but despite the fact that I'm an old fart, I enjoy it. "Eiken" is a ridiculous, so-bad-that-it-is-funny ecchi satire that should probably offend someone like me, but I can only laugh at its silliness. I even get some enjoyment out of tentacle porn, probably because it is so absurd. One day, I watched parts of a tentacle porn hentai and laughed my head off. I don't care how other people react. People who know me realize that I'm strange, so this sort of thing isn't likely to surprise them. My friends and family would be surprised if they heard that I had watched tentacle porn and was offended by it. |

| A more recent one for me would have to be Seiken no Blacksmith. Despite being an ecchi filled train wreck of boob jokes and poor execution, I couldn't help but enjoy it. Many people hated the main character Cecily and thought she was extremely annoying and idiotic but I thought she was straightforward and cool at times, albeit corny. How would people react? Hell if I know, I'll let anyone who reads this find out. |

| Seikon no Qwaser for me. Tons of fan service, very ecchi, rapey at times, and yes there's that pesky S&M Loli character. but other than that its a decent show with interesting powers, an interesting story, good action, a good amount of laughs. Yes it TOTALLY rips off D. Gray man in several ways, but what can I say, it was fun. I'd probably get reprimanded by any real life friends who found out I watched such a show. |

| It'd be either Sekirei or Rosario + Vampire for me, I suppose they are bland choices though as they are both obligatory ecchi shows with subliminal characters and plots. My friends reactions are pretty normal, seeing as how most of them are male and I am 18 lol. Their reactions would be of disgust if I were , say, late 20's+. Ecchis are aimed at my age group anyways. I actually liked both shows in the end (gasp). But probably not because they were good ;) |

| Lucky Star, Guilty Crown and Kiss x Sis. Most normals would look down on me for liking something like Lucky Star but the same goes for a lot of shows I think are genuinely really good. When it comes to Guilty Crown the only way you can realise the flaws is by actually watching the show. For me the appeal comes from the fact that, from a distance, it does look like a really good show. And even through its stupidity it was heaps of fun. Kiss x Sis? I would be looked down on pretty badly and rightfully so. It's garbage, but I like it for some odd reason. Probably because of Ayana |

| Pretty much any ecchi show I liked, e.g. High School DxD, Demon King etc also I like Genderbenders as well so Kampfer is a another 1. The only non-ecchi show I can think of with any guilt of liking is Lucky Star, as to be honest its pretty shit on paper, shit production values, shit animation, shit backdrops, shit ost, no plot, and pretty one dimensional characters, its also not really that funny compared to other comedy shows either. But for some reason the interactions between Konata and Kagami bypass the cynical part of my brain and the overall geekyness feel of the comedy just make me love it way more than I should. |

Gotta Catch Em All! I was even listening to Pokemon music on Spotify earlier... Veridian City... One of the best... When Ash tried to leave Pikachu...
