Ahh yes, I listen to quite a bit of K-pop! I've mostly only listened to songs Kisum features in, but she does seem really talented! Omg I didn't know you listened to BTS haha. DNA is super catchy! The album is chock full of solid tracks all-around too.
It might even be a good thing the figures won't be released until next year so you can make room for them by then! I like the first figure a lot, the yukata is super pretty. The second one.. well.. at least it isn't too pricey, haha! But that's tough since you're still living at home :o are you going to proudly display the figure anyways since it's of Sinon?
Hopefully you can buy the costume soon, it looks pretty cool! Just don't go bankrupt spending your paychecks on figures ;n;

Right :'( waiting outdoors in LA during the July heat wave can be pretty brutal. That's awesome the volunteers/staff provided water though! I don't think they did during the years I went, or at least not at the events I lined up for, so hopefully it becomes a regular thing in the future. Each time I've gone to AX, the Starbucks inside the convention center has a 45-minute line but I always end up staying in it anyways haha.

That's a good point! Such a large chunk of the "culture" of watching anime revolves around seasonals and trying to drop as few shows as possible. While I think that's fine, it's more important to watch something you want to and enjoy! But I feel you there, while I really like most of the series in my on-hold list, I hit a roadblock while watching them and then just kind of "fell out" of my mood to continue them :( we'll pick up all of these anime again though.. someday!

I still remember the time we barely missed each other by like an hour at Union Station haha. The lines got pretty long during the times I've gone, especially when they're outdoors with barely any shade :c oh wow, how cool!! You deserve a pat on the back for planning a meetup. It must've been so gratifying to get a nice turnout, and even having the creator of the site show up!
That's true :( the ballroom scenes really aren't as dynamic as they could be. I find myself spacing out during them and looking forward to the non-competition scenes more, which is kinda strange since this is a sports anime haha. There are some new characters who are going to get introduced pretty soon though, and I'm really looking forward to that! I just hope they're saving the budget for future scenes or arcs and we'll get some really impressive animated dancing somewhere down the line ;n; and same, the necks aren't too distracting once you get used to them!
I'm not sure if you've heard anything about the latest Made in Abyss episodes, but there have been many interesting developments! At this point it might even be better to just wait until the show finishes airing so you can marathon the rest. The one-hour finale airs in a little under a week, too!
LOL aw, well it's good that you look forward to each new Koi to Uso episode so much! Cliffhangers can be tough to ride out but at least they know how to keep you hooked. There were a couple other summer anime I wanted to check out, but now everything's coming to a close and fall shows will be here before we know it :o I feel like this happens every season though, there's never nearly enough time to watch everything that sounds interesting haha.

I hope you enjoy your rewatch next month :D I'm sure the anime will be even more enjoyable the second time around, especially now that you know what happens and how the relationship unfolds! I rewatched the first three eps right after the finale, and it was adorable seeing Akane and Kotarou get to know each other all over again.
It's good you can recognize the bad parts of a show while enjoying it though! Tbh I don't know much about Eromanga-sensei at all even though I haven't heard the most stellar things about it, so I won't judge haha.

Same!! I ended up loving Tsuki ga Kirei a lot. It was also my favorite non-sequel show that aired in the spring c: the ending and Line messages during the credits were super cute and heartwarming! I was bracing myself for something more bittersweet, so I'm really glad that I was proven wrong. Like you, I was relieved that none of the misunderstandings or conflicts got drawn out. Such a satisfying way to wrap up the story.
Ooh Eromanga-sensei is by the creator of Oreimo right? Most of what I've heard about it hasn't been too positive, but it also seems like some people genuinely liked it haha. Well as long as you enjoyed it, that's what counts!
I'm also watching Made in Abyss and Ballroom e Youkoso! They're both lots of fun. I'm following Tsurezure Children as well, the episodes are short but sweet and very funny. I think you would like it too! I haven't heard much about Koi to Uso, but since you're enjoying it so far I'll definitely check it out sometime.

I've read complaints about the pacing being slow and the two leads being awkward, but I feel like that's the point :p I agree, they're so so innocent and adorable! And I'm relieved the misunderstandings haven't been /too/ bad yet, but fingers crossed it stays that way! Are you watching anything else this season? :)
