| According to Nihon TV news, seiyu Takiguchi Junpei passed away on August 29th due to stomach cancer. He was 80 years old. Takiguchi had been working as a seiyu since the 1950s and was one of the magnates of the seiyu world. He was the first seiyu who dubbed a foreign drama on TV in Japan in 1956. He had played many roles in popular anime series such as Dragon Ball, Yatterman, and Lupin III. Source: Nihon TV |
