She was about to eat him to survive, but no chance. Not sure if she came to have feelings on Shibata or not, but she decided to dissolve (or just because she knew that there will no chance to survive anymore). |

| At the beginning, I kept thinking "Natsume, dude, hurry up and get the cake, man!" A fine episode, but this season only has episodes that are inconsequential so far. I hope it picks up the pace soon. |
| i didnt particularly like this chapter in the manga so i didn't like this episode much. but it still was pretty consistent. still its rare to see tanuki in his full form. |
| It was a nice story, I felt sad for her. As for the preview, it seems that they are focusing on old "childhood" friends. Also I wonder if we are going to see more of this guy? He seems interesting. |

| It made me a bit teary when the youkai disappeared like that. He did love her. It's a bit hard to judge Shibata just because he bullied Natsume as a child. He seems to be a fun character at present and Natsume seems more free and friendly with him. Have never seen Natsume looking that cute when he got annoyed (in the train). He was very close to pouting *hehe* Nyanko sensei really liked the warm air of the hair dryer XD Great episode overall. |

I shed manly tears for Shibada and Murasaki due to the following part.  Now that was so emotional. First episode that I got emotional. I also liked this version in the spoiler The other part is that Murasaki scared the living shit out of me as follows,  And that appearance did not stop since she still is like that here. However make no mistake Murasaki is charming in every way in the spoiler Three points of Nyanko-sensei,
So to conclude: Thank you Natsume Yuujinchou series for making me emotional for you once again. Been a while I shed tears for this series and this early on it could only mean more EPIC drama with emotions is coming up. Superb start at being emotional at episode 3. I was damn happy Shibada apologized in thee end to Natsume. It was good. About the preview, looks like some girl is involved and I wonder why and how so she is. Seems I remember that masked person? Does it not have a master? That cat looks strange and I wonder Nyanko’s reaction to it. |

| What I realy like about this show is that there're no bad guys. That makes it a bit predictable but also refreshing between the usual clichés. Yet as gentle and heartwarming as these stories are, they repeat the same fomular to often. I'd like to see more episode spanning progression instead, like they did in season 2. And please let Taki play a part! |

| Aw, nothing can make me feel happier than watching Natsume. The heartwarming feelings won’t stop~ As for the episode itself, it was lovely. It made me tear up, when Murasaki simply disappeared whilst holding Shibata’s hand. He truly loved her ;_; And, man, Natsume’s face when he saw that super-pink store cracked me up to no end~ Nishimura’s retort was as hilarious, too. NYANKO SPONGE. |

| Best episode yet. All the nyanko-sensei part were really funny xD. I did notice the slight downgrade in animation, but I can't blame Brainsbase since they're doing three shows this season. A few of the next episode titles are revealed. I agree with Valentiln. guys, Natsume is not BL. im a hard, attention HARD YAOI fangirl. i love yaoi and usually see yaoi everywhere, but let me tell u , not even once, i thought Natsume was gay or that he was having a yaoi moment with his friend. | I liked this episode a lot, I felt so sorry for Natsume when he was called a liar again but I loved it how he still went and tried to save Shibata <3 He never changes, he's too kind for his own good ~ It seems like next episode will be a special from the manga if I'm right, it should contain a lot anime only shots since the special itself wasn't too long... but I absolutely loved that special so I'm really looking forward to it <3 |

About the episode. I thought that guy was planning to do some bad things tho Natsume but it turned out alright even tho he had problems with the thought of having Natsume as a friend. Especially the moment when those girls suggested Natsume was his friend. The last moments of the tree spirit with Natsume's friends looks very romantic and peaceful a really nice scene. |

| To be honest, I though Shibata started off as a bit of a loser... He takes the time out to aknowledge and track down an individual; he picked on, who has no obligation to him, who he hasn't seen in years, and has moved on, all because he likes a mystery girl? I know I can do with being a bit more romanitic and empathetic, yet this is sad. Still, it was great to see someone from Natsume's past and redemption is good. Also, the dissapearance scene was sweet. Did anyone else notice that when Natsume was seraching for Shibata, a girl was playing with Madara? I thought the people who could see him are limited? Interesting? |

THANK YOU! I love whan admins do their job. I shed a tear when the ghost lady dissapeared. And to be frank, Shibata wasn't sad about it as much as I thought he'd be. He's a jerk all right, but well, I like him anyway :). Nyanko biting the ghost in the head was hillarious :D. Also the bath scene when he appered like a girl from The Grundge :D |
| it was wonderful and i felt so warm at the end. I didn't quite get this feeling from the first two episodes. But i thought that this one was the best so far out of this season (at least the three episodes that i have watched so far). It was hilarious seeing Nyanko Sensei puff up at being called ugly. : ) |
