| Night Head Genesis, near the end of episode 13: the 2 minute rap(?) scene. Episode 13 and the entire series in general were extremely wtf?-worthy: approaching so-bad-it's-good levels of sheer awfulness. But the rap-thing, whatever it was supposed to be, surprised me. In a bad way. Because it was terrible, and there was absolutely no call for it. |

| This wasn't me, but when I was rewatching Evangelion with two of my friends, and we reached the last two episodes. After 25 and 26, their reactions could have (barely) been more different. One of them BBQ'd. Literally said almost nothing over dinner, had no idea what had happened. The other RAGED. Was so angry that he had liked the show early, and that he had wasted so much of his time watching. He was seething. Fortunately, we went out, purchased, and watched EoE and they were soothed. :) |
