TTGL and Clannad ~after story~. Angel Beats was also gorgeous. They all taught me how important life was. TTGL inspired me the most. It reminded me of the strength of the human spirit. It was beautiful.

K-On! is pretty much the only anime that has inspired me, it makes me just feel like life is great & everything is going to be alright. It just makes me feel like I should stop & relax & just try to enjoy my life & youth while I still can.
It's kind of hard to explain, but the show gets me feeling all positive about life.

I like to write stories and anime is my favourite form of entertainment media, so I gain inspiration from any series (avoiding cliche).
Absolutly anything science, supernatural or history central that mentions something I didn't know about inspires me to research.

Does being inspired to start cosplaying count? Haha, otherwise, no I haven't really been inspired yet. Well maybe to become a hero but I haven't got any powers or magical skills.

I've been inspired by many anime in many ways.

Lupin III - I modeled my personality after Goemon for a while during high school.
Golden Boy - Inspired me to never stop studying.
Flag - To pick up photography

and others that I cant remember at the moment.

Naruto was the first to inspire me. It pretty much taught me that I need to work hard and give everything my all, as well living up to my promises and such.

The Aria series taught me to enjoy life more and the little things.

Clannad: After Story. Life is tough you will suffer, but overcoming those obstacles will make life that much more desirable. Hurting yourself will hurt others.

Maybe didn't exactly inspire me, but somewhat made me think about my life so I guess it counts.

Clannad - Made me want to be more lovable and treat love with more respect... I always misused love and had too many relationships. e.e

Angel Beats - Lets just say I'm an organ donor now. At least my body can do one more good thing even after I'm not here anymore.

After that anime, I started to walk around the streets with a drill and sunglasses going, "Who the hell do you think I am?"

It goes without saying that people weren't all too pleased, but who cares? Row row, fight the powah.

Elfen Lied inspired me to become an artist. I've come so far when it comes to drawing anime and I'm proud of myself.

Durarara!! inspired me to look at the world in a better perspective. "The world's not as bad as you think."

Clannad: After Story inspired me to love life and be grateful for every little thing that comes my way.
Dont touch me I'm in despair.

Apparently I've made a thread which is the same as this one, so copyyy and pastteee~~

The other day, my brother was annoying me, and I threw a rubbish bin at him. I've always wanted to do something like that because I saw dear Shizzy-chan off Durarara do it. The sad thing is, it hit my brother, which is so unlike Izaya.

My friend wanted to be a magical girl as a joke, so she rolled up her skirt hell short, grabbed a stick and shouted out "On behalf of the moon, I shall punish you!"

Thank god she wears shorts underneath.

I also got a ruler and shouted 'Bankai' out loud, and waved the ruler around like an idiot.

Also, I quoted Light Yagami's "I'll take a potato chip... AND EAT IT!" with every single chip (excluding crumbs) in a Pringles tube of chips.

Dunno if it's normal but oh well :3
I like bubble teaaa~ Bubble tea for meee~
I'll have it for breakfast, I'll have it for tea, a little each day is a good recipee~

and fight, treasure your friends, all the motivating things. After Katekyo Hitman Reborn for example I started training very serious adn I'm still doing it.

Clannad and Clannad: After Story -was- making a powerful statement but Kyoto Animation blew their chance at creating a masterpiece. It's still quite excellent though, and is a must-watch for anyone into anime.

Sorry for replying to this almost a year later, but I have to correct you there.
I take it you're referring to the ending.. The thing is, it's an adaptation from the VN and exclusively follows the Nagisa route storyline written by Jun Maeda. Kyoto Animation has nothing to do with it.
Well I do agree, the ending was far from perfect. But I don't agree with people who say it nullifies the whole story, as throughout both series they gave glimpses to the Illusionary World and those light orbs, whom I am not going to spoil for other members but you people should remember what significance they have to the ending.

Now I concur with people who mention TTGL, what a psychological impact that had on me.. :O
The Internet is a very bad place, you should never go there.
