| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That Jet Striker is awesome but too dangerous to use even for Gertrude. Lucchini got a hilarious shock from going into the jet striker. I loved her playfulness in the bathing barrels. Lynette and Yoshika are so cute in the aprons. Gertrude did pretty well against the Neruoid and the bits, destroying it in seconds and ended up being saved by Charlotte who broke the sound barrier yet again. |

| That was a good episode. Nice clean fan service with some action and interaction with Trude and Shirley. I have to say it: The chicks are packed! And that is a lot of potatoes.  |

| Fan service this episode was great, enough Barkhorn to make me happy. Her arguing with Shirley was nice and we got to see part of the jet engine piston engine clash, which they did great. And Barkhorn lifting herself up scene was so nice!! And the way Lucchini got launched when Shirley and Barkhorn where racing. And her reaction when she get that electrical shock, and her reaction to Barkhorn sleeping on Shirley's breasts where so funny. Bathtub scene with Miyafuji was nice to. Basically much Shirley much Barkhorn and much Lucchini what more can we ask for. And it seems like next week more Lucchini. |
| I have finally memorized everyone's names. I loved the beginning with Shirley. I totally favor her over Trude; the episode made me hate her a little too much. Either way, can't wait for blu-ray... |

| Since it required an outstanding big magical output to use it for a long time I tough that Yoshika would use it by the end of the serie as a 'forbidden striker' or that Shirley would be able to fix it to use it as her own. Too bad that it was destroyed this episode =/. |

| Well, some good old fanservice, I was very angry after last episode, so I'm really happy about that. By the way, jets such as the Me 262 were used in WWII, but they never were really useful, having limited fuel range and not being easily maneuverable (couldn't turn well, even if it was to some extent offset by its speed and acceleration), and sometimes prone to engine fault—so this ep was actually pretty accurate in that respect. Jets had lot of potential (today the standard) but it was too early back then |

They where used and totally outshone the old allied air planes (too late during the war in order to make a difference tho) In fact the Third Reich where years ahead of the rest of the world in many areas when it came to development of medicine, radio, electronics and of course military innovation and power. Oh I do wonder what a wonderful world we would have lived in if they had won the war... But sadly overwhelming numbers and zerg tactics victors in the long run, especially if you get attacked on two fronts from countries who use said way >.< As for the episode itself fanservice galore! Plenty of nice tight pantsu and multiple characters had good scenes and screen time =) |

I'm not going to make an ethical or social argument now, that's been talked to death and revived so many times, but quite a few Nazi scientists participated in the creation of military weaponry and the space race after 1945 on side of the allies and soviets, so there's not much lost in this case. Barkhorn's training session with underwear which was in need for adjustment was sexy Lucchini censorship was X( Im looking forward for episode 5 |

| Ignoring the ridiculous fact that the two of them were fighting over the fried potato when they had that huge mountain of fried potatoes between them, you are telling me that the two of them were pulling each half of that fried potato which they were fighting over, and none of them were able to pull it apart? Hello? The twintails girl dual wields a pair of heavy machine guns to battle, and couldn't even pull apart one half of a fried potato despite obviously using a lot of strength pulling it? In Strike Witches universe, potatoes are obviously much stronger and much durable. I don't see why they don't use potatoes as armor-piercing cannonballs. They'd take down Neurois within seconds with potatoes. |

| Episode where the main story does not advance, and in which we see for the first time the Jet Striker. In the end, everything seems to revolve around this new, rather the true goal and describe the relationship of love and hate that exists between Shirley and Trude. The narrative from this point of view can tell this aspect well and also to distract the viewer, diverting them under the guise of the new unit, catching two birds with one stone, since we learn to know also the sister Erica, Ursula. This time, Miyafuji ago only by appearance, but I do not mind; Erica is always very amusing. Drawings and animations, good. |
