| Heh. Well, I don't know if it's just me or not, and I realize that the problem is being addressed, but I figured I'd post the issue I'm having here in case it is a new one. I can't see my anime list...at all. Nothing is populating on the list page for me, so I'm guessing all my list related records are on the DB with the problem. As someone who has done major coding for site-based projects, I totally sympathize. Hope you get it figured out soon. It sucks royally hunting for the bug that's throwing everything off. |

Have to admit I haven't been on the site in quite a while, saw the announcement about issues, and just assumed that that was bug and not a different system/preference being implemented. When did that change? It's kinda of a weird thing to do, in my opinion. But eh, that may just be me. As for the other! Oh. Haha, yes that worked. My bad. I'm so used to seeing a close button that that completely threw me off. That's an interesting approach to the modal dialog design. I think from a user-oriented perspective, keeping a close button on top of the click outside behavior would be best, if I might make that suggestion. It's just a bit disconcerting to see a modal pop-up and not find an associated close button. It's become too much of a standard. If you're going to implement a new approach, you should try to transition to it to make users more aware of the new behavior. But then again, maybe you all did that, and I'm just being redundant. Again, haven't been on in quite some time. Eheh. Anywho, best of luck fixing the other issues! |

| go here, set your Default Status to what you'd like, and then press okay: http://myanimelist.net/editprofile.php?go=listpreferences This is an unrelated issue from the changes Xinil made to the list a while ago. Since Custom Status was eliminated, people who had it selected no longer had *any* status selected so the list shows nothing (by default, but the links at the top still work). I can think of several ways this could be avoided.... but just go there and refresh your settings for now. |
