| That was pretty amazing. From the use of the 28 Days Later theme to the insane production values. Watched it raw since the dialog was pretty much pasted from the manga and what wasn't was easy to pick up. It was seriously worth it. |

| When looking at this anime before the season, I thought "Looks meh, but manga has decent ratings so there must be something special about it." My first impression was right. Nothing special at all so far, but at least it was entertaining. I'm starting it at 6/10. And lol yellowsubs. |

Maybe Im being picky.. its 230 in the morning Im allowed.. plus I waited for an hour and a half to see it.. So I guess my opinion may have a taste of bitterness..but not enough to get this from being a 6 so far. |

| I'm torn... blood and complete pwnage had this at a 5/5 for me. Panty shots and bouncing boobs took this down to a 4/5. Rei screams like a helpless moron, but she totally kicked some ass with those martial arts moves! I also liked Takashi's character design. I think this is going to be pretty sweet (after ignoring the panty shots), it is gonna end up like a resident evil thing and that is never a bad thing. Please, more smashy! |

| I'll be honest and say that I'm a little disappointed with the first epd. My only grip is bashing of heads and such are a blacked out screen and the aftermath, really Madhouse. there is hope, in the trailer the yellow haired guy that jumped to his death was shown with his head splattering. So this leads me to think there might be an uncensored version I hope so otherwise I will be truly disappointed. HOTD EP1 = 8/10 |

Read through chapter 1 of the manga and the bash kills are shown as they happen. watch the trailer from 33sec to 35 and then you will see the difference from trailer to anime. |
