| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well the show ended, I have to say, I liked it and want more but it feels like they fit the first 13 episodes of a 26 episode series in 3 episodes, the series gets a 6 from me, but it it was expanded it was very good. |

| I'm left with a feeling of, "Is that it?". I knew it would end abruply gonig in because you're not gonig to do much with just 3 episode and the fact that the manga never really even started, but I really wish it would've gone on longer, developed the characters more. |

| Total, absolute tripe. Animation was horrible, horrible--it was like a low-budget show from 2000. Characters were absolutely awful--the two guys were exactly the fucking same, and then the blonde idiot was annoying as all fuck. And no, I don't remember their names. Music, voice acting were sub-standard--like everything else. Even the pacing was shit. AND NOTHING HAPPENED IN THE LAST EPISODE. Seriously, what the fuck? It just ends. With...nothing. The plot idea was alright. But the way they went about it was awful. Why bother even animating this shit? |

| I think that the first two eps were good, they were interresting, I wanted to know why the three persons joined the competition, and why they needed the money.. but, in the third episode it all ended too fast... If the last episode didnt end that fast it would have gotten a higher rating from me than 6/10! |
| Really fun to watch, but a little empty, the characters don't evolve and the eps all have the same build up. Guess that's what you get when you only have 3 eps, it's a shame, it should have had more episodes...oh well, to bad. |

| I was expecting something like this from the series when I found out it was only 3 episodes long, considering the premise. And as expected, it left it feeling incomplete. It was good otherwise, it gets a 5 from me, I still think it would have been better with a 13 episode series and an original anime story. |

| this is what i think.. this OVA was made as a privew.. and there might be a T.V series any time in the future.. i have seen a lot of OVAs like this one.. and they all had a T.V series that been made after the OVA was shown.. i really liked this anime.. and have high ecpectation for a T.V series.. and i hope there will be one.. since i don't really watch this tybe of anime often (i mean all the main charecters are male and there is no hope for romance heheh) this anime got 7 out of me ^_^ and i really loved the OP and Ending theme |

| They tried to cram what should've been 13 episodes into 3. Not really a good idea, since that obviously is going to make the ending crappy. I was expecting it though tbh. 7/10 for me, it was pretty entertaining overall I think. |

| pff in the last episode they just did the same they were doing the previous eps, opening new plot lines, not closing any. its really hard to consider this completed. if there were to come a full series, i dont think i would watch it. interesting plot, but i dont like the 3 main characters. |

| Knowing this was 3 episodes and the pace they went through in the first episodes the ending was pretty much what I expected, I liked the idea of the story but the "series" just completely felt like a preview/commercial for something else. |

| This last episode was the worst of the three, I thought. It's really too bad there are only three episodes, because this series had loads of potential. If they had fixed the pacing for a 6 episode series, or even a 12 episode series, this could have been great. As it was, the ending was too open for my tastes, leading to a 7/10 from me. |

| wow people sure rate it high... it had the making of something good but then fails epically. through in the girl cop into the mix but then have nothing happen. this anime was a 6/7 until how they concluded it, now its a 5/6. i mean how can you even rate it as good if the ending has absolutely nothing with the story. all three of them are just working some kind of dead end job. cashier, bartender and i dont even remember the other one. |
| I liked the art, I liked the premise, but the story telling is bullshit. If there was no plotline for the police investigation, why throw it in there at all? Either they should have taken liberties with the story from the on-hold manga, or not animated this at all. It could have been interesting, but it wasn't. |

| I'm still suprised that so many people are moaning over how short the series is, it's annoying because you're not looking at the facts. I'll copy paste the relevant wiki part so that you can see why the series was so short. 'The Bus Gamer manga series is created by Kazuya Minekura, and only exists as a single volume 'Pilot Edition' due to difficulties in serialization. Only eleven chapters of the series were ever published before Comic REX, the magazine in which it was serialized in, went under. While Minekura claims in the re-released Pilot Edition to still have interest in finishing the series, and characters from it appear in her regularly released art books, no word has been given on when the series will be picked up again' 11 chapters is not enough for a 13 episode series, i've read the manga, most of what was in there was included in the anime. The anime is more or less an advert, and hopefully it will result in the continuation of the manga, due to the interest generated. Obviously any plot lines that were open that weren't concluded, is because there wasn't any material from the manga for that, and since the manga is probably going to be continued and the anime followed the manga so closely, i doubt that original material would of been a good idea. Especially 10 episodes worth. That and these are Minekura's characters. Anime does sometimes have original content, yes, but the fact is that the story and characters were just getting set up in the first 11 chapters (we have no idea how long this series would be originally). It's not the case of a bit of original content, we are talking about the character's backstories (only just getting into them in the manga), rest of the story and conclusion, original. Sorry, not going to happen. I'm sure Minekura wants to do that herself. |

| This series as a whole was just a tease: Not enough backstory on the characters, only the beggining of character development, no conclusion, plot devices that weren't taken anywhere, and obvious missing fights. However, I still managed to enjoy the premise and what little that was shown. I would like to see this series redone, and view all three as a sort of Macross Frontier 01 Deculture Edition. As it stands, I will probably rate this a 6 or a 7. |

| Well that was a whole lot of jerkin' with no happy ending. I like the premise of this show. I knew nothing about the manga going in. But when I saw it was 3 episodes I figured it would play like an OVA split into 3 parts. I know some shows have an open ending but the plot of this series didn't seem to lend itself to that. After all it's about a game that supposedly does have an end and a winning team. I seemed like they were trying to do a test study to see if there was enough interest to do more. I'll give it a 6/10 until they do more with the story. |

| This just seemed like some kind "trailer" for the real series. XD They really should have made it at least 13 episodes. I found it quite disappointing to "end" like that. I also thought the animation in the last episode was even cheaper than in the other two. I don't rate it too high... I like the mangaka, that's why I gave this anime a chance, but no matter how much I'm a fan of her, I can't find much good about this adaption of her manga. |
