For me visual aspect is very important. I enjoy much more watching nicely done stuff.

I find the most attractive:
1. Mo Dao Zu Shi
2. Kusuriya no Hitorigoto

also like the style of:
- Fruit Basket
- Kimetsu no Yaiba
- Sasaki to Miyano

How about you?

Probably we can make two categories:
- the most beautiful only in visual/artistic aspect
- and the most beautiful in both - visual/artistic aspect and the storyline
But it's not necessary, write as you wish :)

I like the visual beauty about Sonny Boy, retrospectively it seems like the foreshadowing of Madhouse going mad on Frieren.

Besides KyoAni because that’s really obvious, CloverWorks has some really good looking anime.

I guess some others could be Oshi no Ko. (I’d give more but my service is dying)

My Top 5 might be The Vision of Escaflowne, Demon Slayer, Sousou no Frieren, Chainsaw Man and Yu Yu Hakusho.

Most of KyoAni's works are visually beautiful, also both Oshi no Ko and Sousou no Frieren are honorable mentions as well.

I was gonna say Your Name but since you said Series, maybe I will go with CSM. I love how MAPPA handled the 90s Tokyo vibe

- the most beautiful only in visual/artistic aspect

I believe Shirobako is consistently beautiful in regards to capturing the real world and the environment animation studios work in, and making these things look visually appealing.
Seirei no Moribito is visually appealing for a low fantasy world because it captures tiny details often.

The most beautiful in both - visual/artistic aspect and the storyline

This is probably a common answer at the moment, but I believe Frieren has many visually appealing drawings that nicely suit and amplify the enjoyment of its story.

But a show that might do it even better than Frieren, in its own aesthetic, would be Samurai Champloo.
Many of Frieren's drawings and animations are nice, but in Samuri Champloo there's a strong and fairly unique aesthetic that takes advantage of many details including the background and shading (more often) to create a very cohesive narrative with its art. Since it combines Edo Japan with anachronistic elements like Hip Hop, the creators seemingly did their best job in having both the story and visuals flow together very nicely.
ow + nw = 90-2000s

Jojo's animated adaptation can look really fantastic, especially in the scenes where they shift the colors for dramatic effect. It looks so cool whenever it happens on screen and just showing screenshots doesn't really show you how great it is in the episodes themselves

Like many others already mentioned, some key works by KyoAni (Hibike!, Liz and the Blue Bird) really stand out to me for being incredibly beautiful.

I'd also add Studio SHAFT's Monogatari series. I'm a bit biased towards it but I really do believe it's one of the most beautiful anime I've ever seen. Vofan and Oh! Great are incredible artists so if it wasn't beautiful it'd be a complete waste of an adaptation.

In a different respect, I found Dorohedoro by MAPPA to be incredible with it's gritty feel and art style. Dark atmosphere with explosive color, just a hit vibe that not many other anime I've seen try for. Beautiful in it's own different way.
