| Looks like my time has come once again to start a thread lol. This one was decent, I really liked the whole countryside evil ritual thing along with the kid nearly being lured out the window by what looked like a demon when he was alone in the attic, but imo the ending was kinda random, like why were the parents suddenly being weird and leaving the car lol, did they get assimilated that fast? Idk, overall I liked this one tho, the art in this one was unique as well. |
| I don't think those were his parents. In some weird way, they got deceived into handing the boy to whatever looked like his parents. |

| Take it the parents are getting sacrificed too based off them leaving the car and what the grandparents said at the end, especially since if the parents were just planning on sacrificing Tomohisa it makes no sense for them to stop him from leaving to the demon outside. Doesn't really match the story set-up to include them though so meh. Seems like it was included for just a fake out. And the 49 year ritual thing is so oddly specific to be distracting. That aside, I didn't hate this one, I think the art style was pretty solid, and while I think Yami Shibai actually showing the monsters is usually to it's determine, everything being more stylized made the demon fit more in. Wouldn't say it wasn't still slightly goofy but this might be one time where I think it sort of worked out to the benefit. At least wasn't a negative. |
| i kinda liked it, the monster design was super cool looking as well. also when your parents are telling you to leave today cuz there is some problem, leave immediately and talk them over phone ffs instead of arguing that you want to stay there. |
